"I've owned almost every generation of mustang and ford is still improving on a already amazing car my only real complaint with the car is the interior space as it seems to have gotten smaller for us larger guys but you won't find a better car for the money and keep in mind the resale value few cars that you buy new off the lot will be worth 20k when you get it paid for"

"The Mustang is an amazing work of art. It's body style is based on the original, but improved. The ride is unexpectedly comfortable. Performance is amazing. I've not owned it long enough to be more specific. So far, I'm thrilled with it."

Detroit Muscle at its best - Almost Perfect

"I bought the 2013 Mustang GT auto trans. What drew me to this car are three main aspects; Performance, Style, and Economy. Tons of power, even with the auto. Purists will say "you HAVE TO get the manual trans, or its not a real mustang". I disagree, the new automatic transmission is more reliable and out-performs the manual (all performance records on this car were set with the auto). The manual may be more fun to drive, but I have too much stop and go traffic on normal daily commutes and my other vehicle is a '99 Ranger with a stick, and frankly, I'm sick of driving a manual. Ford hit the nail on the head with styling (as long as you don't go with the "Gotta Have It Green" or Yellow, in my opinion). I wanted a car that would give me decent fuel economy but still throw me back in my seat when I wanted it to, and the 2013 Mustang GT pulls this off PERFECTLY! To quote the LA Times "The GT dispenses with zero to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds on its way to 12.7-second quarter mile, according to Motor Trend. If you want something just a hair faster, plunk down $190,000 on an Aston Martin DB9." I do have one minor complaint however, the center console design is leaves much to be desired. There is an AUX input and a 12 volt power supply inside the console, which is great and I intend to use both, a lot. However, there is no cut-out to allow the cords to exit the compartment with the door closed. Instead, there is a key lock for the console right where the cut-out could be. This is a nice feature for security reasons in a convertible, but I bought the coupe. Also there is no great place where I can set my phone while charging or using it as a jukebox for the stereo. My only options are to close it in the console (making quick access difficult) or leave the console open, thus eliminating an arm rest. Oh well, the rest of the car more than makes up for this relatively minor inconvenience."

"Just picked up a BRAND NEW 2013 Shelby GT500 convertible for $2,000.00 UNDER STICKER from BILLY JARRETT FORD in Avon Park. Florida. ONLY DEALER in the country not asking $10,000 OVER sticker. These folks don't sell any car at or above sticker. Love the car. Also have 2013 Camaro ZL1, 2012 Charger Super Bee and 2012 Challenger Yellow Jacket so I now have all of the modern versions of the old Detroit muscle cars. The others I'll be able to drive till I die but the Shelby will catch up to me eventually as I'll get too old to handle the steering wheel along with 6 speed manual transmission. Others are all automatics."

"I recently traded in my audi a4 for my '13 mustang v6 6spd and I have to say this car is fantastic. First off I drive 140 miles a day for work and the car averages about 29.7 mpg at an average of 65 mph. this car is comfortable too, I drove 900 miles from va to fl with 2 other people in the car and everyone was fairly comfortable. and last this car has plenty of performance as long as you get the manual also if you find the right dealer you can get a good deal, I paid less than 19k for mine and it came with 5 miles on it"

"Bought the 2013 Mustang V6 after driving all of the pony cars. Went with the White with dark interior. Wanted to get as close to my first 68 as I could so the only option I added was the auto trans. Gas milage....... Ehhh'. 27.2 on Hwy after 6 weeks of driving (1300 miles). Not bad, but not 31. If I soft pedal A LOT I have seen 29 in a 20 mile one way run. If I had the choice again I would most likely go with the Manual. The Auto seems to be confused in moderate acceleration 2500-3500 when shifting between 3rd & 4th, seems to hesitate before it makes up its mind. Bought the car with 5 miles on it and immediately notices a major squeek anytime I went over uneven road such as a speed bump. Dealer squirted a little lithium around the sway bars and all is quiet. Other than those 2 nitpicky items, the little guy is exactly what I thought it would be. Mean enough to make me smile when I feel like stepping on it, but comfortable enough to drive daily. Also got out the door with TT&L for $2500 less than the closest comparable Camaro or Challenger."

"My 2013 Deep Impact Blue 6cyl Mustang was hotttt looking. Awesome handling, but the gas mileage sucks. My sticker said 31 mpg highway. I got 22.5 mpg with no city driving. Strictly highway. Also, you can not drive this car comfortably if you're taller than 5'8". I'm 6' even and my head rested against the headliner all the time. If you lower the seat, you can't see over the dashboard. The salesman told me a week after purchase, to give it 3,000 miles to break in. When that didn't help, they bumped it up to 5,000. I kept it 3 1/2 months and traded it in on a 2013 Wrangler which gets better mileage .... FACT!!"
