"I loved the reliability of the car. The best thing about it was the ability to not worry about weather or not the car would start in the morning so that I could get to work. But if you wreck the car and even bump the front end you will really need to replace the headlight lenses because they will crack from any pressure and blow the headlights all the time."

"I've had one for 4 years now( my dad had it for 5 years before that) and it still runs like new! It rides well for it's age and price. very dependable... never had it break down or anything like that! no major repairs needed thus far... it hauled a very heavy load of kids and luggage on a long road trip recently and despite the load and weight it still performed admirably! comfortable interior with some nice features! Excellent car for the money!"

"You can have performance and mileage if you have the money to spend keeping these cars on the road. obviously cheap cars but the hidden costs of foreign parts on the yahmaha motor will stack up fast. as well as extensive labor times on repairs. the manual transmission is the only way to go, the auto is weak and pron to failure. fun cars if tuned up properly but nightmares when problems arise."
