Consumer Reviews
"Just a bad car altogether. I really do not like the Acadia at all. Gas mileage is nothing special. Next time i will go for quality, a Ford Explorer. I dont even think Gm makes a quality car or truck."

"I had Previously owned a 2005 Yukon and to my many regets traded for a Sorento in October. I purchased an Acadia SLT in early April and traded in the Sorento. The Acadia is tops for the cost and I gives the feel of a larger vehicle. The interior is roomy and comfortable in the rear. Before purchasing the Acadia all I heard from my kids was ShotGun and I'm in front. Now its a chore to get one to sit in the front! GMC has done it again!"

"I have been an owner of several Chevrolet Suburbans and greatly like that vehicle, however, it became a bigger vehicle than I needed and the gas mileage was unacceptable. The Acadia is somewhat smaller, handles better gets somewhat better mileage (so far it matches what was on the window sticker). The vehicle is responsive when called upon and has good road feel through the stearing wheel. Resonably good turning radius for its size. The interior is very comfortable. Seats six with ease. Good cargo capacity with third seat flat - more than in most crossover vehicles. I have always had a V8 and a rear wheel drive, but the V6 is nearly as good as my past experience and the front wheel drive meets my needs. I drove the car several miles before making the purchase. I am very pleased and happy that I did not go with another Suburban or a Tahoe. I have always bought GM vehicles and have found them to be reliable. I gladly recommend the GM Acadia SLE to anyone in the crossover market."

"This is truly a vehicle that competes against equivalent foreign entries. I owned an Envoy Denali prior to the Acadia Denali, I?ve loved them both, but the Acadia simply looks and performs better all around. The Acadia Denali has it all, including room for 7 with Cargo. Something that Honda, Acura, Toyota can?t say. The Acadia is well engineered and the ergonomics have been carefully considered. I really like the heads-up display and standard moon roofs. We added the nav and rear entertainment. I?m getting about 22 MPG on the highway and 18 city, pretty much as promised and much improved from the Envoy?s 17 and 15."

"The 3rd row in the Acadia is huge compared to any competitor in it's class even bigger inside than some of the larger competitors! This is a no brainer, less expensive, more room, better gas mileage, definitly the best value for the money. If your looking at a large crossover or family sized SUV the Acadia is the way to go."

"The GMC Acadia is a great vehicle. I went to the dealer and sat in one and thought how great GMC has done with the Acadia. I really like the exterior styling, accept i think the rear part of the car looks kind of like a minivan. I would recommend this to people who have lots of kids, or parents who have kids that play sports. You still get the great styling of a Crossover SUV w/ minivanish interior. if you do not like having captain chairs, their is an optional bench. This car is a major bang for your buck."
