"Bought this car new and traded it in after 9 months. The MPG are horrendous in city & hwy. Barely getting 23 mpg and the tires had constant pressure issues. The eco button is a complete joke..gas mileage worse with it on and has absolutely no power. Bought a 2013 Rav4 and what a difference, comfort, power, and tremendous gas mileage. GM falsely advertised this vehicle as 24 to 30 mpg."

"I have had this SUV for two months, like the ride, like the SUV itself. Like the style of the SUV, outside and inside. Was not sold on the look at first. But the mileage is what I was after. So far a good SUV. Navigation needs work. Also for the money both front seats need to be power. This would make this SUV better. Engine and drive train feels great. I research this SUV for about for months before, I bought this Terrain. Used with 4000 miles on it. Great SuvOhio"

"Love my GMC Terrain. Researched this vehicle and finally took the leap and got a used one 2012 with only 8200 miles. Like a brand new car. I wish the steering wheel would go higher as I am tall. Or that my seat would be a little lower. But I love the display for the radio, XM Radio, Bluetooth. It is all touch screen and that was one of the primary things that I loved about the car. I am very pleased."

"My wife and I was shopping for a new vehicle and really liked the gmc terrain .What was the biggest reason ? Well the sticker rated it 41 mpg highway. Canadian gallons is 4.55 litres . Ok I know that would be hard to get but come on when you get 20 and 21 mpg from 41 mpg there is something wrong here . So far cant say much against the rest of the vehicle except it is a pig on gas . I took it in to the dealer but was told that there is no check engine lite on so nothing they can do .What do I do from here ? Would I buy another one ? no not with the poor gas mileage it is giving ."

"i already have the terrain V6 3.0 264 HP 2012, its a nice car , its very comfort, have a hug space for you everyone in the family, cargo space is very nice, very comfort while driving in travelling, we used to travel alot for a long distance, minimum 500 KM & its very comfort. we live in Arabian gulf where temp there is 50 degree , & the car is really nice only thing i dont like is the performance, i used to compare it with my old car VW GTI , its better in the acceleration , i know its different kind of car & comparison is not fare , but its out of my hand :) anyway its a lovely car & i loved it so much thanks"

"We leased this vehicle in Sept 2012. Have about 6,000 miles on it now. My wife drives it to work 20 miles round trip. Part city/part HWY driving. AWD/4 cylinder engine. Overall averaging 21.5 MPG. Recent tank was almost all hwy miles, and barely broke 22 MPG. Not impressed. 4 cyl is very sluggish. Had I known this, I would have either gone with the 6-cylinder, or bought the CRV. Power drivers seat is not the most comfortable. Had a 2001 GMC YukonXL that was much more comfortable than this. Lots of room in 2nd row for my teenage kid. But the negatives outweigh the positives. Would not buy the 4 cylinder again."

"We bought our Terrain a couple months ago.. just a little over 4,000 miles.. best gpm was 30.6 but average since purchase is 24.9 mpg. The 4 cly is a little sluggish getting in and out of traffic but is awesome on highway. It will cruize @ 75 with no strain and has ample passing power. Terrain is a Great looking vehicle. perfect for my wife. We got power driver seat which allows my bride to sit up higer for better road vision. I'm a big guy and the Terrain is just a little confining but I can still drive long trips comfortably. Both my bride and I are very pleased."

"Overall favorable veiw of 2012 Terrain. Exterior and interior are good. Very smooth and comfortable ride, my 3 children enjoy riding in it. My only desappointment is after four fill up with E10 gas I am only getting a 24.7mpg average with a low of 24.3 and high of 25.8. I was "expecting" average of 30 to 32mpg. My primary purpose of this car is commuting to work 28 miles round trip each day 90% high way mileage."
