2015 GMC Terrain Review – Reliable and Comfortable
2015 GMC Terrain Review – Reliable and Comfortable SUV: I purchased the 2015 GMC Terrain as a reliable daily drive, and it has exceeded my expectations in many ways. The interior is spacious and comfortable, with high-quality materials that give it a premium feel. The seats are well-padded, making long drives enjoyable. In terms of performance, the Terrain delivers a smooth and stable ride, with responsive acceleration that meets my needs. The fuel efficiency is reasonable, which helps with long commutes. The exterior design is bold and distinctive, giving it a strong road presence. Reliability has been solid, with minimal mechanical issues over the years. Maintenance has been straightforward, and the vehicle has held up well. Additionally, my purchase experience was fantastic, thanks to Claudia Reid/Sales. She truly took the time to negotiate pricing and ensure I got the best deal possible. Her dedication and professionalism made the entire process seamless. Overall, the 2015 GMC Terrain is a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable, spacious, and dependable SUV. Would I recommend it? Yes, especially for families or commuters seeking a balanced vehicle. Thank you, Auto Club of Edison!

Because the timing belt went out two times on the vehicle
Because the timing belt went out two times on the vehicle and I have had to have an engine replaced time which is costing me a great deal of money overall, I like the car for the built the room that I have on the inside it looks good. It drives good. It’s just to have a flaws in the engine, which is very costly.

Not even 130,000 miles and the engine stopped because ill was getting into the tank. Plus something with the pistons. Timing chain and multiple other problems! 3-4 grand to fix. I did all of my oil changes and maintenance at the dealership that sold me the truck. Yet this still happened with absolute no warning ‼️ can’t tell you everything because they wanted $1800 just to determine the issue but the service manager guessed around 3-4 grand to fix

Think twice.
Did everything right. All oil changes and recommended services at the right times. Timing chain broke and caused catastrophic engine failure. No warning signs of misfire, poor acceleration, or metal shavings in the oil pan that might indicate wear. Only 89,000 miles. Had a winter weather checkup and actually asked specifically about it and mechanic told me looked good. GMC says they should easily last 120,000 miles and 10 years, so figured I could address in the summertime. I guess oops on my part. Sad, otherwise, a decent car.

Don't waste your money on a Terrain
I bought my 2015 Terrain new and yesterday, was told that it was going to cost $5000 to repair. The car had 170,000 miles, mostly highway. There is no excuse for the 8 year car to die. I have learned my lesson about buying cars from the Big 3 and will focus on purchasing my next car from Honda or Toyota. I am retired from General Motors and if the UAW wants 49% wage increase, they need to start building a reliable product.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
Timing chain constantly slips/breaks. Had engine serviced and it did it again. Now, the engine smokes. Paid $3600 for repairs that did nothing to fix the issue. Waste of time and money.

Loud, jerks at a light, and it cut off on me. I only had the car for two weeks, not happy about it at all.

DRIVES LIKE A CADILLAC!!
Really nice to drive! Extremely comfortable almost like a recliner!! Sturdy and solid! GM had issues with certain years for oil consumption is the only issue. I understand GM is making good on it now! As long as it’s checked over otherwise these are extremely nice cars!!

Don’t buy this SUV
Worst car I ever owned. Radio won’t turn off, engine oil leaks so bad had to put new engine in and did the same thing. Gas guzzler. Drives like too big of a boat. Slow take off. Horrible car!!
