GM Certified Used Vehicles Announces Agreement to Showcase Certified Inventory on Cars.com

Top-Selling Certified Brand Teams with Leading Online Automotive Destination

GM Certified Used Vehicles, the industry's top-selling manufacturer-certified used vehicle brand*, announced today an agreement, effective February 21, 2007, to list GM Certified Used Vehicles on Cars.com, one of the industry's leading automotive websites.

In addition to comprehensive content, advice and automotive reviews, Cars.com lists more than 2 million vehicles from 13,000 dealer customers, classified advertisers and private parties to offer consumers one of the industry's best selections of new and used vehicles online. GM Certified Used Vehicles listings will also appear on Cars.com's partner sites, including MSN Autos, Kelley Blue Book's Kbb.com, and more than 200 local media sites. Cars.com, MSN Autos and kbb.com combined represent visits from 66 percent of all automotive Internet users**.

GM Certified Used Vehicles units featured on Cars.com will be distinguished with a GM Certified logo to help shoppers quickly identify certified vehicles. Additionally, the listings will offer links to more information to acquaint shoppers with the GM Certified Used Vehicles program and to Cars.com content which educates potential buyers about purchasing a certified vehicle. GM Certified dealers who advertise on Cars.com will also receive additional opportunities to brand their dealerships and highlight their GM Certified inventory through the Cars.com Certified Showroom. GM Certified Used Vehicles is further supporting the campaign with a national brand campaign on Cars.com to build awareness and convert undecided shoppers into the GM Certified Used Vehicles brand.

"Growing numbers of today's consumers now use the Web to research and shop for their next used vehicle, and our relationship with Cars.com, combined with our ongoing online listings program, effectively doubles GM Certified's Internet footprint in terms of online vehicle listings," said Paul Pejza, manager, GM Certified Used Vehicles. "The Cars.com agreement is a win for GM Certified dealers and customers, providing shoppers with convenient access to our inventory of more than 60,000 units, the largest of any manufacturer in the certified category."

"The Internet plays a critical role in generating consumer interest in certified used vehicles," said Mitch Golub, Cars.com president. "According to a recent Cars.com study, 74 percent of Cars.com shoppers who contact a certified seller purchase a vehicle. We are excited to work with GM Certified Used Vehicles and GM dealers to bring additional exposure to their brand and their inventory on Cars.com and to drive more, quality traffic to their stores." ***
