Detroit—January 29, 2007—GM Certified Used Vehicles, the industry's top-selling manufacturer-certified used vehicle brand*, announced today an agreement, effective February 21, 2007, to list GM Certified Used Vehicles on Cars.com, one of the industry's leading automotive websites.
In addition to comprehensive content, advice and automotive reviews, Cars.com lists more than 2 million vehicles from 13,000 dealer customers, classified advertisers and private parties to offer consumers one of the industry's best selections of new and used vehicles online. GM Certified Used Vehicles listings will also appear on Cars.com's partner sites, including MSN Autos, Kelley Blue Book's Kbb.com, and more than 200 local media sites. Cars.com, MSN Autos and kbb.com combined represent visits from 66 percent of all automotive Internet users**.
GM Certified Used Vehicles units featured on Cars.com will be distinguished with a GM Certified logo to help shoppers quickly identify certified vehicles. Additionally, the listings will offer links to more information to acquaint shoppers with the GM Certified Used Vehicles program and to Cars.com content which educates potential buyers about purchasing a certified vehicle. GM Certified dealers who advertise on Cars.com will also receive additional opportunities to brand their dealerships and highlight their GM Certified inventory through the Cars.com Certified Showroom. GM Certified Used Vehicles is further supporting the campaign with a national brand campaign on Cars.com to build awareness and convert undecided shoppers into the GM Certified Used Vehicles brand.
