Cars.com Launches Ask.Cars.com

Online Forum Lets Consumers Ask Cars.com Experts for Automotive Shopping Advice

Cars.com has launched a new online tool to answer car shoppers' questions about new cars and the car-buying process, Ask.Cars.com. Car shoppers can now ask the experts at Cars.com for advice and information they need to better understand the car-shopping process or to make an automotive purchase decision.

Cars.com's team of expert vehicle reviewers will respond to a wide range of questions on the site, based on their in-depth knowledge of all things automotive and their real-life experiences test driving a variety of cars each year. Consumers can also showcase their automotive knowledge and experiences by posting comments in response to any question on the site.

"Whether a consumer wants to find out what 'torque' means or simply wants advice on whether they should choose a Honda CR-V or Toyota RAV4, Ask.Cars.com is a place where they can get answers to their new-car shopping questions," said Patrick Olsen, managing editor at Cars.com. "With the number of new cars on the market today, it is increasingly difficult for shoppers to sift through their options. Now, they can directly call on our expertise and insight to help them."

An archive of inquiries, answers and consumer comments will be posted to the site so visitors can easily browse past topics, making it an excellent resource for in-market shoppers looking to supplement the research they have done on Cars.com. Consumers can access the new forum by typing http://ask.cars.com directly into their browser or by going to the Cars.com website.

"What car buyer wouldn't love to have a friend in the business that can help them navigate the shopping process?" said Mitch Golub, president of Cars.com. "Now, Cars.com visitors can get help and advice based on our team's countless hours spent behind the wheel reviewing new vehicles."

Ask.Cars.com is an example of Cars.com's commitment to improve the new-car shopping process. In recent months, the site has launched more than 10 new tools and features on the site, all designed to make the car-buying process easier.
