Chicago—January 5, 2010—Cars.com announced today a webinar to discuss tactics dealers can use to capitalize on increased sales projections. The free workshop, "Drive More Sales in 2010," begins at noon EST on Jan. 8.
"With new-car sales expected to rise in 2010, we're seeing significant opportunity for dealers who've buttoned down their internet advertising and sales processes to gain share," said Ralph Ebersole, automotive consultant at Cars.com. "The stores that focus on the fundamentals -- fully merchandising their listings and creating a great shopping experience for buyers -- can expect the lion's share of these deals."
Ebersole will moderate this month's DealerADvantage Live workshop. He will be joined by Art Spinella, president of CNW Research, and Michael Tyman, CEO of Professional Success.
Attendees will get advice on how to:
-- Engage first- and third-party lead senders to set the appointment and win their business.
-- Demonstrate your vehicles and offer reasons to buy from you with effective merchandising.
-- Tailor your sales processes to specific contact channels.
-- Work with shoppers across today's longer buying cycles.
