How to Donate a Car

1. Choose a charity that will receive your donation

Choose one of our featured charities or search for a specific charity to launch the V-DAC-sponsored donation wizard.

2. Enter your vehicle information

Provide your vehicle's year, make, model, mileage (optional), VIN (optional), your name, address and the vehicle's location. Your state may require a title to donate your vehicle. This is indicated on the first page of the V-DAC-sponsored donation wizard after you've entered your ZIP code. If you have questions, call V-DAC toll-free at 866-398-4483.

3. Print the necessary forms

When you have finished the donation wizard, print out two copies of the completed form from the Review & Submit page, one for your records and one to submit with your title (if your state requires you to mail in a title). If you cannot print the form right now, a copy will be sent to the provided email address and you can print it later.

4. Mail to the V-DAC processing center:

Sign and date the completed donation form. Sign your name on your title (if a title is required) exactly the way it appears on the title as the current owner/buyer. Do not abbreviate, scratch out or white out any title information as this will invalidate the document. You will transfer the title to V-DAC by entering ADVANCED REMARKETING SERVICES (agent for V-DAC) as buyer/purchaser. If you have questions about transferring your title, call V-DAC toll-free at 866-398-4483.

5. Schedule a time for vehicle pickup

Once V-DAC receives your paperwork they will call you to schedule a convenient time to pick up the vehicle.
