Panoz doesn't necessarily change its products on a model-year schedule. Several improvements, including revised spring rates and dampers and the use of a carbon-fiber superstructure arrived for 2003. An automatic transmission became available in 2004. Both a convertible and a coupe are available, and a supercharger may be installed on the Esperante's V-8 engine. The 2004 models also added a cupholder and a Rockford Fosgate stereo system with a CD player. Revised suspension geometry included fabricated tubular control arms. All suspensions now use Dynamic Dampers. Information on changes for 2005 has not yet been released.
