Vehicle Overview
The Infiniti QX56 is a full-size luxury SUV, and it competes with the Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator and Lexus LX. The QX56 comes well-equipped and is available in one trim level.

New for 2010
There are no significant changes for 2010.

Exterior
Whereas other luxury SUVs try to smooth out their edges, the QX56 has an imposing, blocky exterior design. It's 206.9 inches long and 78.8 inches wide, which makes this luxury SUV one of the larger models in the marketplace.

The following are standard:
  • 20-inch chrome-finished wheels
  • Automatic xenon headlights with LED taillights
  • Power, folding, heated mirrors
  • Power liftgate
  • Power moonroof
  • Roof rack
Interior
The interior styling is rich-looking, with wood trim on the dash and doors. The standard second-row captain's chairs give the three-row SUV a seven-person seating capacity; a second-row bench seat bumps seating capacity up to eight. Overall, there's 188.4 cubic feet of passenger space. It has 20 cubic feet of cargo space with the seats up, and 91.7 cubic feet when the seats are folded down. This makes the QX56 one of the larger SUVs in terms of passenger space, and it's competitive when it comes to cargo space.

The following are standard:
  • Leather seating and wood trim
  • Dual-zone automatic climate control with third-row vents
  • Heated steering wheel and first- and second-row heated seats
  • 12-speaker Bose audio system with 9.3GB hard drive
  • XM Satellite Radio (subscription sold separately)
  • Navigation unit
  • Power-adjustable pedals
  • Bluetooth hands-free phone system
Under the Hood
The QX56 has a single powertrain offering and can have either rear- or four-wheel drive. Maximum towing capacity is 9,000 pounds when properly equipped.
  • 320-horsepower, 5.6-liter V-8 with 393 pounds-feet of torque
  • Available rear- or four-wheel drive
  • Standard rear suspension leveling system
  • Standard heavy-duty battery
  • Optional tow package (standard on four-wheel-drive models)
Safety
The following safety features are standard:
  • Side-impact and side curtain airbags
  • Active front head restraints
  • Antilock braking system
  • Stability system with traction control
  • Rearview backup camera
