Vehicle Summary
Like the Mazdaspeed edition of the prior-generation Mazda MX-5 Miata roadster, the Mazdaspeed6 is a high-performance offshoot of an existing model. In this case, it's based on the Mazda6 sedan. A turbocharged four-cylinder engine with direct gasoline injection gives the sedan a performance boost, and it's accompanied by suspension and body alterations. It was introduced for 2006, and Mazda says it made no significant changes to the 2007 model.
