Exterior A 2008 facelift dulled the Tribute's appearance instead of adding sparkle. It features body-color door handles and grille. There is a standard capless fuel-filler door and various optional attachments for the roof rack.
The Tribute Hybrid has seating for five. The rear window opens independent of the liftgate.
The Tribute Hybrid's drivetrain allows the SUV to run solely on electric power up to 25 mph or so, according to Mazda. The 153-horsepower, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine is coupled to a 70-kilowatt electric motor.
