Sport utility vehicle-like styling cues and characteristics give the Legacy-based Outback a unique appearance and enhanced capabilities, augmented by a choice of all-wheel-drive systems. Redesigned for 2005, the Outback grew a bit and could be equipped with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Models have been realigned for 2006.
