A redesigned GTI hatchback coupe with a 200-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder debuted in 2006. For 2007, an auxiliary audio input jack and tire pressure monitoring system come standard, and the ride height is reduced for a sportier appearance.
