Ford redesigned its top-selling model for the 2004 model year, giving it a fresh look, all-disc brakes, stiffer construction and a wider track. Two V-8 engines are available, and all
models now have rack-and-pinion steering. In the 2004 model year, Ford will continue to offer versions of the previous-generation F-150 model, now called the F-150 Heritage.
