When it was redesigned and reengineered for 2007, the Sierra's major changes included exterior restyling, improved interior quality, roomier cabins, higher maximum towing capacity and improved gas mileage. The Denali got a larger engine and six-speed transmission, so there are few changes for 2008. Safety options include side curtain airbags and an electronic stability system.
