General Motors has come up with a new way to aid directionally challenged drivers. Using its OnStar system, some GM cars can now speak to their drivers, leading them turn-by-turn to their destination. One month after being named North American Car of the Year, the 2006 Honda Civic was designated today Best of the Year by MotorWeek, television's longest-running automotive magazine and the source of cars.com's dynamic video reviews. Trucks look to dominate the Chicago Auto Show this week, with pickup truck introductions that include Chevrolet's redesigned Avalanche and International's supersized new MXT. Toyota will also unveil its second-generation, full-size Tundra. While they're generally perceived to be safer than cars, consumers still have one qualm when it comes to sport utility vehicles: rollovers. To address those concerns, several automakers have recently integrated rollover mitigation technology into their flagship SUVs.
