Consumer Reviews
"I bought it used at 26K and since then drove 24K in one year. I have said it's a great commuter car as I drive 100 miles per day and with cruise control set at 68mph, I'm getting 36mpg during winter without AC and 31~32mpg during summer with AC on. It is very quite on freeway and very manuevable in the city. Good performance for a 4 cylinder engine, my friends who sat on the car thought it is a V6 becuase it is so quiet and powerful. With my previous Honda experience, I have no doubt this car will last at least 200K. Excellent bargain, I would not consider Civic anymore for the used price I paid for this Accord mainly due to confort, road noise, and gas mileage. Highly recommended for daily commuters!"

"I bought a new 2006 EX V6 with Navi, leather, all the goodies. After now 66,000 miles I have absolutely no repairs and besides routine maintenance my only expense has been a new set of tires last week. The V6 has a ton of power but I can get 30 mpg on the highway if I stay near the speed limit. My only complaint is the road noise and a lack of character."

"Best car I've ever owned!I purchased the car Jan 2007 brand new(last 2006 on lot). I recently got into a car accident 2 days ago and this car saved my life. We hit the center divider at 70 mph after a drunk driver sped into our lane and the side curtain airbags busted open. None of the windows were broken and all of us had no injuries or even scratches! Today,we only have some bruises and some pain from hitting the door panels. My car did not flip over and it kept all of us protected. However, my car was considered totaled because the airbags went off and I am driving a rental car which cannot compare to my 2006 White Honda Accord SE. Prior to the accident, my car has been reliable, attractive, comfortable, smooth, and gas efficient. I travel over 80 miles per day for school and work. During the past 2 years I've owned the car, I only had to maintain the oils, fluid, tires and brakes. When I get my settlement from my insurance, I plan on getting the same exact model except that I want to get an EX-L because I want leather this time. I RECOMMEND THIS CAR TO EVERYONE because not only was it reliable and attractive, but it saved my life and two others."

"After reading all the nice reviews, I must have gotten the lemon of the year. At 26000 miles the right side tires (that had been regularly rotated) showed out of allignment wear). Was told when the tires were on right rear a $200.00 "upper control arm was causing the tire to wear incorrectily". Honda would not pay for a replacement. At 31000 miles the timing belt needed to be replaced. . Honda paid as a "goodwill gesture". Thank God. Whats next? 38000 miles. Well when buzzing down the freeway and I try to adjust the right outside mirror the right rear electric window goes down. I adjust the mirror in the safety of my own garage now."

"I recently purchased my 2006 Honda Accord SE with 38,000 miles right out of college. I am far from having buyers remorse, I LOVE my car. I drive very conservatively so I get around 34-35 mpg!!! It is a very quiet and smooth ride. Every reason I purchased a Honda is coming to reality... Reliable, good MPG, Sleek and simple yet economical design."

"My 2006 EX Sedan Auto 4 cylinder is a fantastic car. It has everything you need in a car -- great seats, a simple to use yet almost luxurious interior, awesome reliability, solid resale value, and very good driving manners. In addition, with a light foot my wife and I routinely get 30+ mpg in mixed driving. My one wish is that Honda had not been stingy and only put skid control on the V-6 (according to consumer reports, skid control reduces risk of death by roughly 1/3 if I remember correctly). It seems almost absurd that a new Hyundai Elantra has skid control but my three year old top of the line Accord does not!"

"Love the car, first Honda ever bought, had toyotas before but like accord better than camry in 2006. Bought new. No problems, systems work like supposed to, still smells like new car 2 years later. 45k miles and still original tires with miles to go. Only change oil when told to. Getting 31 mpg. Buy it."

"I bought my four cylinder accord when I only went to the dealerships to look at cars. I have not been back to a dealership lol. The car was a compromise between something a little sporty and something economical. By the way gas has gone up, I think I made the right choice. The performance is ok, it is not a sports car by any sense of the word. It handles great and the five speed transmission gives it a really sporty feel. The comfort level is great and I enjoy driving the vehicle. The only things that I would change on the car to add an ipod jack and give it all wheel drive. I can get a jack and put that in myself, but the all wheel drive will have to be taken care of when I upgrade to that Porsche 911 4s. My quarter jar is just waiting, I might still be in my 90s when I finally save up enough."

"Just OK, A Buick is a much more comfortable automobile. Basically the Honda's ride is stiff along with the seats. The 4cyl. is wonderful in it's fuel economy with good pick up."
