"Have 10k on a new Accord EX with 6 sp. manual. 4 cyl goes 6.8 sec. 0-60, runs on reg. gas, and gets 34 to 38 mpg. highway. Getting 27-28 mpg city. Smoothest shifting tranny and best car, I've every owned. Used a little oil during breakin. Does not use any oil now. Getting over 10k on oil change computer reccommendation. Pleasure to drive."

"I've had the 2013 Accord EX for two months and I'm very happy with it. It's my second Accord (first was a 2009), and I love the new exterior and interior designs. The right side and rear cameras and the Bluetooth cellphone connection are great safety features. I've been getting 34 - 36 mpg on the highway during long drives (1 - 3+ hrs. on the highway) and in the mid 20's around town. I use the Eco feature constantly, and never notice reduced power. I turn it off if I want faster than normal acceleration onto the parkway or to pass on the highway, and then go back to Eco again. I've had no mechanical or maintenance issues so far, and never did with my 2009 Accord, so I look forward to years of enjoyable, carefree driving."

Accord V-6 with manual tranny

"After driving a civic for four years and using one tank of gas a month (I work full time from home) my V-6 Accord seems like a gas hog. But around town, I get just about 22 mpg -- as advertised -- and 28 on the road. In my humble opinion, Honda does not make enough of its Variable Cylinder System, which is a kind of super-overdrive. Push the Eco button and three cylinders are turned off. (Read about it on Wikipedia.) Otherwise, it's the hot rod I never had as a younger man who required a decade to get through college. (The 10 years included Army, marraige, kids, divorce & a goof-off year in Europe.) I've only let it out in first and second gears so far and it is breathtakingly fast. (I've nick-name the dark red Accord "Red Witch" because it's wickedly fast. And ,yes, I stole that from Game of Thrones.) Only thing missing: the huge rear window on the Coupe desperately needs its own windshield wiper."

"This is our 4th Accord, and it is the best one. The 2013 is the most quiet and smoothest riding. Honda has provided many extras for the money. Entering and exiting is electronically simplified. There is a greater sense of safety with warning signals for lane departures, traffic in front and behind. Right turns include a camera with a large screen viewer which also provides for backing up. The driver's side mirror also provides for better viewing. There is a dual heating system. The radio is clear and sharp. Our first highway mileage was 33 +. I think it will do even better with more miles on the car. The Accord has excellent pickup. Engineering has been first rate with all our Hondas and we expect the same reliability with this one. This car is reaching the 1000 mile mark, and we are looking forward to many more pleasant miles."

"Just bought a Honda Accord EX Sedan at Honda Village.. My salesman Rafael Martinez was easy to talk to, did not pressure us, was very knowledgable about the cars and very helpful to us as we decided among several models. His low key approach and patience led us to pick this dealership over others. The service department is highly rated and the manager who checked in periodically was easy going as well.We plan to get the car serviced at Honda Village and would buy another car from Rafael."

"I picked up my card in March of 2013 and by April I have had it in for AC repairs. A month later to the day in May the AC didn't work again so I brought it back to the dealership. After trying to figure out the problem they decided to order a brand new AC unit from the factory. While the car was being looked at for the AC unit they did a software updated on my radio and now that doesn't work. The radio probably won't be ready until June 21st and today is May 29th. So far not impressed. "Canadian Car of Year" not to sure anymore."

A car I feel safe and secure to drive

"Back in 1979, I bought a first-generation Honda Accord that had a stick shift, and the car felt safe and secure to drive, you know, the rock-solid kind of feeling. Over the years because of a growing family, I went through a variety of large vehicles, such as station wagon, large sedan, SUV, mini-van. Now since I became an empty-nester, I sorely miss my 1st-gen Accord experience. To satisfy my need to re-experience my prior Accord experience, I bought a 2013 ninth-generation Honda Accord EX with automatic transmission (so that my wife can drive it if she needs to). This is my first vehicle equipped with the low aspect ratio 55 tire. As soon as I optimally positioned myself in the cockpit, the prior wonderful Accord-driving experience all came back to me. It felt safe, secure, controlled, comfortable to operate in the cockpit. My wife especially appreciated the quietness of the cabin and the great audio listening experience. The small 4-cylinder engine is quiet and powerful. And it is GREEN. During the first 500 miles engine break-in period, I drove mostly on surface roads and I checked to figure out that I got a 29 MPG city driving. The engine is so small you can actually see a good patch of ground under the hood. The room under the hood is so spacious that Honda engineers even put the catalytic converter under the hood (so you never have to worry about those catalytic-converter-stealing thieves). Wow, I am really happy to own this 2013 Honda Accord EX. And I dare to admit it is really senior-citizen-friendly."

"Thought it was time in my life to get back to 4 door sedan after many years in mini vans and suv's. This proved to be monumental mistake as the Accord was the most boring car I have ever driven. Only one word comes to mind when I think of Honda ...BLAH!!!!"
