"I love this 2005 Honda Civic Si hatchback only wish they still made them. You cannot go wrong owning a Honda. Also a car that has been in the desert."

"My 2005 Honda Civic 5 speed manual is a great car to own and drive. When I bought it I wanted a car that was reliable, easy to maintain, and fuel efficient. This car suits me to a T. It's attractive and comfortable, but it's also quick and responsive when you need it to be. Based on my experience with this car I will definitely buy another Honda in the future."

"what can i say? this is the third honda civic i've owned. i've tried others but i keep coming back. my 2005 is a 5 speed manuel transmission, as were the other two. YOU CANNOT BEAT THEM FOR GAS MILEAGE!!! i seriously doubt that even the hybrids can beat them. did i mention that it handles like a dream? and the pick up? this is a fast little car.... if you've never tried one, i suggest you do. you'll keep coming back, like i have. enjoy!"

"2005 EX Coupe 5 spd., 63k miles. Down sized from a minivan in October, and loving every minute of it. For a small car, it is very comfortable, and rides and handles nicely while getting about 33-34 mpg around town. Just had its first big test in the snow storm this morning, and passed with flying colors. Really could use a 6th gear, but overall I am very pleased and not missing the van at all."

my Bluebird

"Known as "The Bluebird," my blue '05 Honda Civic had almost 130,000 miles on it when I traded it in. The only reason I traded it in was because it leaked water when it rained through the door, which was because I hit a pillar in a parking garage with my side mirror, not due to a faulty car. The only big repair ($100+) was a faulty A/C clutch at 75K miles, which was $250--if you don't count the timing belt, which was a part of maintenance at 110K miles. I put 15-20K miles on my car every year. We drove up and down the mountains every summer and would regularly get 35-40 MPG, with a car filled with luggage. During the rest of the year, in ONLY stop and-go-driving, I got 25-30 MPG. This was a reliable little car"

"I owned a 1990 Honda Accord that racked up 200,000 miles before it was prematurely taken from us in an accident. I think i could have gotten 500,000 miles on it easy. When I went looking for a replacement the Civic had grown up so much it was the same size as my old Accord. This car is nimble, quick and I still get 30 MPG. I got the 2005 LX Special Edition with a rear spoiler, premium stereo and alloy wheels with low profile tires. It's comfortable on long trips and quick jaunts to the corner market are just plain fun. It corners great and hugs the road. The LED illuminated gauges make it look like I am driving a space ship. Fun! The trunk is huge and the seats fold down for more cargo. My 2005 was one of the last on the lot as the new 2006 body change-over just came in. I found those models sat lower and with the long dash it was like I was driving the car from the back seat. I hope the next body change get it right again."

"my wife and i bought this car new. i cannot say enough good things about this car. starts and runs great 10 below to 100 above and gets great gas mileage. i am over six feet tall and still have plenty of room. only complaint? cd player overheats after maybe 60 min of playing and the car is a metal magnet. for some reason it keeps getting tagged wherever it goes!"
