"After a long search for a reasonably priced used Honda, civic LX , we found a great deal on craigslist from a private owner. It has under 17,000miles, one owner, comfortable and economic ride. It looks , feels and runs like new and the price was better than most 2010 to 2012 Civics we considered. We are very happy with our 2012 Honda Civic and pleasantly pleased with the new styling. R E"

"I have less than 2000 miles so far, mpg started very low about 24 but has been climbing with break in, hitting about 35mpg now with 80% highway driving. If we get the touted 39mpg, then this car is a cost winner over the hybrids. Mpg seams to drop quickly when driving over 65mph, and I drive 70mph daily. I like the ride, may be a little stiff for some people but I prefer good handling to soft ride, and this car appears to handle well for a front wheel drive car. Best looking civic they have made, fit of body parts is very tight. Does not have GPS, but I don't really want outside parties tracking when, where, and how I drive so this is good."

"The new Civic is very disappointing. It is not as much fun as the old civic model, not available as a hatchback and has few improvements with outdated styling. Honda is asleep at the wheel and will no doubt start loosing market share."

"My new 2012 Honda Civic is meeting my personal expectations of a reliable and fuel eficient vehicle. The ride is very smooth and the eco feature is a big plus in getting additional MPG."

"Having already owned 4 Honda products over the last 14yrs, the NEW Civic Si was a sort of no-brainer. I have been anxiously awaiting its arrival since I found out it would come with the AWESOME 2.4L i-VTEC motor. The car is everything I expected it to be. People can say what they want about the styling, I love it......And how could you say anything bad about a car that you can cruise around in 4th and still have decent TQ. You did a great job Honda. Its everything the Prelude never was and could've been, and simply Outshines the previous 2.0L Civic Si like it was 20yr old Technology."

"I have owned and purchased man new cars, mostly GM products over the years. However, this is my first compact sedan and also first 'import'. However, I never paid any heed to what Consumer Reports said about the Honda Civic for 2012. They have made many poor recommends in past years, and their reports are often misguided and simply wrong. other reports rated the Civic well and even as recommended. CR said NOT to buy the car for 2012 as it has poor ride and interior comforts. I found this NOT to be the case, and my wife and I bought the Civic HF (high fuel efficiency) model in May of 2012. We have enjoyed great gas mileage and the car performs in every way as we expected and wanted. It lacks nothing in performance, and is fairly quiet and comfortable. This after driving full sized coups and sedans like Buick Regal and Pontiac Grand Prix for years. We are so impressed, and now learning the Civic gained well over 38% in sales for 2012 in spite of CR's degradation (like who cares what they say!) we plan to buy another this year as the 2013 is more stylish and they say better on performance and interior comfort. We can't imagine what they did to achieve this as we are happy with last year's mode. But we look forward to year's of great product service from Honda. We care for our cars, and our Regal is over 16 years old and rides and drive well. Honda we believe to be a better product, and we look for many years of service and reliability as well as savings in fuel with the high mileage this car has give us so far. (Currently with over 8k miles on our 2012.)"
