"I have owned many cars and several have been Honda's so I was truly amzed at the incredibly POOR interior comfort. The seats probably came out af a Hugo or even worse a 1960 VW. After 60 minutes of travel my legs and back start to ache. My wife practically refuses to ride in the car as well. I looked at the 2012 CR-Vs hoping to find upgraded seating but sadly, there was little improvement even with the leather seating option. My next car will NOT be a honda."

"Our 2005 CRV EX now has about 68,000 miles on it and our ownership experience has been positive overall. We have had no mechanical problems and have been especially happy with the roomy and flexible interior, as well as the excellent visibility. We agree with other reviewers that it is a bit underpowered; the engine strains uphill with four passengers. An extra 20 horsepower would have done wonders. Like all Hondas, road and wind noise are pronounced (why can't Honda improve this chronic problem with all of their vehicles). Mileage is good for an SUV, but we wish we could improve on the 21-22 mpg in our everyday driving; highway mpg has topped out at about 27-28. We'd give it a B or B+ overall."

"I've been very happy with my CR-V. I bought it new in 2005, and it has rarely been in the shop for repairs. It is roomy and comfortable for four adults--five if the drive is not long--and the cargo space is huge when the back seat is tumbled forward. I dislike the inconvenience of unplanned car repairs, so I purchase vehicles with a great reputation for reliability. My CR-V has not disappointed!"

"Its really value for money. Fuel economy is excellent. Design is the best among all cr-v models to date."

"After researching used vehicles, I targeted the '05 CRV SE that would hopefully have low mileage that would be within my price range. After being patient for a couple of months, I found it and been driving it for 4 months. I couldn't be happier with the comfort inside and the looks outside. Everything is laid out well with nice lines of sight to all controls and gauges. I thought having the gear shift on the dash instead of the steering column would be strange but it's just the opposite, I really like it. Seats are extremely comfortable although I wouldn't complain if the drivers seat could go back an extra notch or two. The ride is smooth and quiet which surprised me for a 6 year old vehicle. It speaks very well for how well it was made. The drive is a pleasure whether just heading to work, driving a couple of hours on the interstate, or backroading with the 4WD. I will admit that I have one lone semi-disappointment, that has been the gas mileage. I drive the CRV like a baby, I am very aware at all times to drive it in achieving maximum mpg, but just a little over 2500 miles later, I am at 24.9 mpg. I was really expecting/hoping for 26-27 but it doesn't appear that is going to be a possibility. I would hate to see what it would be if I drove it harder. I have my 60k checkup coming up, perhaps it needs some tuning up, I guess we'll see... Overall, I'm very happy and just short of being thrilled..."
