"This past summer, while prices were depressed, I bought a used 2006 CRV LX AWD and love it, especially in the snow. I test-drove a 2007 CRV but didn't like the interior quality and cargo capacity so I went with the 2006. I replaced the original tires with Triple Treads and this SUV is a winter killer. I previously owned a 2004 CRV LX but it didn't have alot of the features and upgrades that the 2006 does. Now I have traction & stability control, an enhanced direct-drive AWD system, ABS and a 5th gear for better gas mileage. I'm averaging 26 mpg on mainly town driving. You just can't beat it!"

"I have had my CRV for three years, and I love it even more than the day I bought it. It's easy to move the seats for more interior space, my Great Dane/German Shepherd mix doesn't hit the ceiling (so I don't have to vaccuum fur out of the headliner), the car handles incredibly well, stops on a dime, and is fun to drive. The seating is high enough to see over most cars on the Freeway, and the back door swings open like a real door instead of a hatch (so if you have dogs you can actually close them in safely - not always easy with a hatch). The car has an amazing amount of power for the gas mileage. The funny thing is that because of it's squarish, conservative look I didn't think I would like the CRV until I test drove it. It's been love ever since. We chose a Honda because we have an ancient Civic that just won't die. We had another make in between that only lasted 60k miles before the transmission blew. Meanwhile, our ancient Civic is still on its first clutch, transmission, and just about everything else."

"I got this SUV the week before Honda rolled out the new redesigned version. I see this vehicle everywhere on the roads. It is popular and reliable. I looks better than the new design and it got that distinctive wheel in the back. Its got good acceleration and smooth ride. The gas mileage is very good. It handles very well on the roads especially with Goodyear Assurance tires. I like the little middle table next the driver seat for where I place my food because I eat alot in the car. It stores alot for trips. After 2 years of owning this SUV, I am still happy with it. I got this for quality and reliability. Get it with the sunroof because its fun to drive."

"It has plenty of room, so you can pack it full, but it still fits into smaller parking spaces, as it is a mini-SUV. The gas mileage is the best for all SUV's, and it is relatively quiet to drive. Very smooth, no problems with it and I am at 48,000 miles with lots of city driving. At this point, to consider another vehicle would take a lot."

"I've had my CR-V for 1 1/2 years now and other than a very minor taligate sensor issue which was resolved under warranty, I've had zero problems. It's 4WD, gets through WY winters, is comfortable, handles nicely and gets good mileage. What more could I ask for? The controls took a little time to get used to, but now I prefer them to any other car I've driven. The only tiny improvements I can think of would be an additional power port on the dash, an mp3 plug-in on the stereo and lighted vanity mirrors. All things considered, I'm happier with this CR-V than any other car I've ever owned."

"Not being to needy on features, I purchased a 2006 4WD LX model a couple of weeks ago. Took it on a 4 hour drive last week, and got 25.7 miles to the gallon. Should be better once broken in. This vehicle replaced an aging Dodge Caravan, and so far outperforms in every way. Handles a lot tighter around corners, seems to have more power then the V-6 in the van, and tackles hills well. My only complaint is - there is a heck of a blind spot to the rear on the driver's side."

"The CR-V is a great little SUV for many reasons. Its large interior allows plenty of room for both passengers and cargo. I was amazed at how much pep this little SUV has. It handles even the steepest hills without a problem. It also is very maneuverable, with a nice tight turning radius which makes it very easy to park and get out of tight spaces. Even with a combination of city and rural driving consisting of steep hills and poor roads, my CR-V is getting 23+ mpg--and its still new, so it may get even better mileage as time passes. I also like the fact that the CR-V has such good safety ratings. The CR-V is also smooth, quiet and fun to drive. Its a vehicle that gives all the great benefits of the larger SUVs with the handling and convenience of a car. No single vehicle can meet the needs of every person, but the CR-V is perfect for me and I am completely pleased with mine."

"Purchased June 28, 2006 I like the handling and performance on the road. The gas milage for in city is not what I would like, the Honda Pilot that I had before this one was about the same in city 14 to 16MPG. On the highway it's running at 24MPG. The dealer says the MPG will improve. The front seat needs to be power. Sunvisors need to be a little larger. Lighted mirrows would be nice. There is plenty of power, lots of cargo area. Front and rear seats have lots of leg room and are comfortable for a long trip."

"I was in the market of a small SUV and this one fits the build. I condsider others like most people I wanted fuel economy. I looked at a few Hybirds. But they were asking for some out of the sky prices. So I found CRV, to be a nice fit. It preformed nicely. I like the styling and colors. I bought a SE model, which is top of the line...but I found a few things that they should add to it. 1. Automatic seats along with the power windows. 2. Vanity mirror with lights. 3. A mute button on the steering wheel along with the other controls for the radio. 4. More arm rest (with storge compartment)in the middle of driver and front passenger seats. 5. More compartments for stuff(or maybe bigger compartment to hold more). But I like it overall. Nice vaule and nice SUV. I believe next years model will be totally redsigned."
