"After looking at several small and mid-sized SUV's my wife and I settled on a CRV EX. At first glance I was not a fan. I didn't have many manly traits. However as we compared small and mid-sized SUV's, I had a hard time finding AWD or 4WD that were offered in a 4 cyl. Many of the comps offered AWD or 4WD, however in order to get it, you had move up to the V6. Gas millage is decent. We average 23 and that's with a combo of city and highway. On just highway, we probably average 27. I've been impressed with the real-time AWD. At first I wasn't quite sure if it was "real" AWD since you don't have the option to engage yourself. However I've been impressed with how it handles in the snow. With good tires, it handles well. It's no Jeep, but for a small 4 cyl, it does the job. The EX offers plenty of nice features and for a small SUV there is plenty of storage room and seating for 4 adults. 60,000 miles later the CRV has required very little. So far, I'm impressed. Overall a very good value."

"Found my Honda CRV thru "cars.com" at a dealership in Clearwater, FL. Made a great deal and drove it home. Only two things bugged me after I bought it. First, the 2007 model gets 2-3 miles more per gallon than the '08 because of more relaxed exhaust emissions. And second, all 2007 and newer Honda CRV's have protruding head rests on the front seats that most drivers find uncomfortable. I wrote to Honda to see what could be done to correct this problem...so far no reply. Otherwise, LOVE this vehicle. Think my wife wants to get one also."

"I LOVE my Honda CRV! We just got back from a week long camping trip and the cargo space was great...much better than I anticipated. The CRV had plenty of power and handled well on gravel mountain roads. The gas milage was pretty good considering the load we were carrying and the type of driving we were doing. It's also a wonderful car for daily commute, I'm so glad we bought this vehicle!"

"I've long wanted to own an SUV. I did extensive research to help me decision which small SUV to purchase. I'm very glad that I choose the CRV. It has an excellent ride and safety features. I gets good gas mileage; not as good as some other SUVs in it's class but that's because of the AWD. I'd highly recommend this vehicle to anyone who is considering purchasing a small SUV."

"I drove this car for 3 1/2 years. Reason for trading. My wife had a problem driving the car due to her height. It had oil changes every 3500- 4000 miles. I got 25-27 mpg average. The car is in excellent condition."

"I was a major American man prior to buying/trading for this Honda. Why did I trade? Two things; reliability of the product and my truck was a gas hog. The truck was a 2007 large major truck and the car a mid-sized sedan. Nuf aid. Better economy all around much more sheik. No more $200-$250 a month. We love it."

"I am a sports car enthusiast, However I purchased the CRV to drive to work (26 miles each way daily) and carry home furnishings for my renovations and I must say I do enjoy driving this little SUV. It can't replace my Lexus sc for driving enjoyment but it's much more practical on a daily basis and has many bells and wisles that I have enjoyed in the Lexus."
