"Best bargain for your money. Lots of good extras, the backup camera and blue tooth without having to pay extra for them.o"

"I bought a 2012 CRV and it has a lot of nice features. The nav system and sound systems are great. The car handles very well has great visibilty. The main issue with the vehilce is the road noise started getting louder as the mileage went up. I ended up getting the car aligned and changing the tires to a good set at 24000 miles. This fixed problem entirely. I did some reseach and found the stock tires were the lowest rated for noise that HONDA could have put on. For the price of the vehicle I feel the car should have came with a top grade tire."

"Yesterday I drove my 2012 CRV from McKinney TX to Norman OK, i. e. ~170 miles, and managed to get this unbelievable gas mileage. Most of the distance (on I35) I drove behind a truck that travelled at 70-72 mph. We were two persons in the CRV, it's equipped with roof cross bars, tire pressure ~35 psi, premium fuel. With a Diesel engine and manual transmission I would have been closer to 60 mpg."

"Have had the CR-V Touring model for 6 months now and I love it. Gas mileage is good as is the comfort. Love the electronics in the Touring model, especially the rear camera. Bluetooth is the best working I have ever had. I drove a Toyota Rav 4 but the CR-V beats it hands down, especially for driver leg room. My only complaint with the CR-V concerns the rear storage door and the fact there is no remote release on the key chain nor is there a interior release available to the driver."

"I wrote a review on my 2012 Honda CR-V EX-L earlier this year (-> scroll down). Here I just want to update my opinion. The initial performance of the engine was not so terrific but after the break-in and now 6000 miles my CR-V accelerates really well; especially from 0-50 mph, and that's the speed range I need most. I'm so happy with the engine performance that I give 5 stars now (don't forget it' remains a 185 hp - 4 cylinder, and yes I know what a BMW 135i feels like). Exterior styling was the other category in which the CR-V didn't score the maximum in my first review. During the last months I had the chance to compare the CR-Vs styling to those of its closest competitors (Toyata RAV4, Mazda CX-5, new Hyundai Santa Fe). From pictures I liked the Mazda CX-5 a lot but after having seen it from all angles at a dealership I think the CR-V is just as nice. Hyundai did a great job on the new Santa Fe; it looks very much like the CR-V in the front and somewhat better from the back. Hyundai and Mazda offer more options (e.g. HID lights, panoramic glass roof) on their models but of course this is then also reflected in the price. I liked the interior styling of the CR-V from the very beginning and that hasn't changed a bit; when it comes to interior color choices I very much like the tan leather with the mocca brown dash board; it probably gives the interior the best or most upscale look. In other categories like comfort, reliability and value-for-the-money the CR-V gets very clear 5-star ratings. The front seats and especially their lumbar support are wonderful and great for long drives. By the way I always get 34-36 mpg with the CR-V on the freeway (w/o AC) which is awesome when compared to similar vehicles. A TurboDiesel engine (~180 hp) could further improve MPG numbers, driving performance and fun. Altogether, the 2012 CR-V is a best choice and a fantastic value!"

"If it fits your needs you will be very happy with this car. For us it's not to big or to small. Gas mileage was a real improvement for us. Resale value is a very important concideration."

"We like that it has a backup camera even on the base model. We like the seats sitting higher than the accord. It gets pretty good mpg. It is all computerized- just like sitting on your PC. Takes some getting use to, but it works! Would like to have a remote hatch button on the key pad. Also would like a lighter color interiior."

"I am retiring in 2 years (Sept. 2014) and bought this so I can enjoy the vehicle even before I retire. This CRV has plenty of items that are user friendly and accessories that I can install myself. I found that the ECON mode is very helpful and got me more mileage per gallon. My cellphone (and my wife's cellphone) paired flawlessly to the vehicle's bluetooth and I don't have to use my headset anymore. I also like the low-power daylight driving lights which gave the vehicle extra visibility for cars ahead of me--an excellent safety feature."

"Price for year end model very good. We did not want a large SUV and the new 2012 CRV body style and interior design are excellent. Averaging 29MPG through out spectrum driving (City/HWY Combo). 3000 miles on it in 5 weeks and not a problem. The ECO feature seems to function well. Only having a 4 cyl option is felt when going up hills (even though I have left it in ECO mode which reduces power slightly and may have some effect on hill performance). Overall we are extremely satisfied with quality and performance. This is 5th Honda for us and have never been disappointed in any. Highly recommend for anyone desiring a smaller SUV type vehicle (even though some have called the CRV a Crossover). Very good size for 4 person family."

"Great on gas and handles very well! So roomy on the inside..very deceiving from the outside. Controls are easy to use and well placed on dash panel. Lots of space for hauling, especially with the back seats down. I had a tailgate spoiler added to back that makes it very sporty looking. The only con I noticed was that when it rains, my brakes are very touchy and jolting until they dry out. I dont know if this is normal or not, probably going to have it checked out just incase. Overall its a wonderful reliable car!"
