Consumer Reviews
"After hearing all the hype about Hondas for years, we decided to purchase a new 2013 CRV-EXL AWD the beginning of May. We've driven the car about 600 miles so far, so it's not even broken in yet. We wanted a mutli-purpose vehicle with decent gas mileage, all wheel-drive (it's Minnesota) and the CRV delivers exactly what the sticker says - 24-25 City, 30-31 highway. Runs smoothly and is reasonably comfortable, but you feel certain bumps, particularly when traveling over roads with numerous cracks or frequent bumps. Power is ok, but we had traded down from a Nissan Murano with 60 more horsepower, so a little anemic from what we are used to. The interior is nicely done, but a little too much plastic in places, like so many cars these days. The leather is comfortable, seats are nice, good gauges and controls, although the shifter tends to get in the way of the ventilation controls when in Park. A great vehicle that does many things well - highly recommend."

"I have driven Hondas since 1987. My new CR-V is a natural progression thru four Accords and three Odysseys. As I grow older, my needs for an Accord gave way to the need for ease of getting in and out of the vehicle. My extended family has grown up and my needs for transporting so many people at a time has also lessened. The new CR-V now fills my transportation needs very well. I am further at ease because of the all wheel drive feature that sometimes is necessary in Minnesota snow country.I have only driven about 400 miles since new but can already see an increase in gas mileage over previous vehicles. So far, I am happy with my choosing a CR-V."

"All 3 CRVs have excellent quality, performance and reliability. My 2013 is getting 37 mpg average on long trips at 65mph."

"I've had it about 2 months now the mileage is better than estimates at 26mpg combined. it is much quieter and smoother then the jeep liberty I replaced. Most features I like but no satellite radio unless you spend another 3,000 is crazy. I really like the looks but worry about door dings since it doesn't have side mouldings"

"I owned three other Honda cars, so the search for a replacement was limited to the CRV and the CRV. After searching the Internet I decided to buy new versus used (CRVs retain value well). I was impressed with the exterior styling of the 2013 CRV EX-L AWD. It's not the nicest looking small SUV on the block, except maybe from the rear. Overall the car looks good, and there are decent color selections available. The interior has just about everything you need, and the feel of the leather is smooth. I love the support provided by seats on Honda cars, no one else can beat it within class. Seating for five with plenty of head, leg, shoulder room. Arm rests in front and an easily accessible center storage bin are nice features. The dash is not crowded with useless features, displays are easy to read and many functions can be performed using steering wheel buttons. Good trunk storage space with a privacy cover, and easy to fold rear seats for added storage. The Bluetooth interface is a great feature for hands free phone use. I love it to stream Pandora. The sound system is excellent on this car at any volume level, and car came with 3 months of XM radio :) Technically the car has performed flawlessly. Excellent brakes that do not grab, acceleration is good (though I always hold back to let the rabbits get clear), and steering is tight. I've only had the car for a month now, but I trust Honda's reputation and my experience with their reliability to continue for years to come."

"Car feels very light for a car of this size. Audio system is very disappointing for the EX-L level, not a standard of performance for Honda at the top level. Overall very quiet, decent ride, adequate performance, and economy. A great value in a sea of Cross over/ compact SUVs. I see more and more of these on the road, every day .Maybe that says something very positive for this model."

"I drove my best friend's CRV when I went to visit her in NY for two summers, and I realized this is the car I wanted. But, it was out of my budget, so I bought a different car. One and a half years later, I couldn't stand that car anymore, and I bought a brand new CRV. I love it. I am a low tech person, and I had to sit in my car and figure out how to use the bluetooth feature, and I still can't do everything, but I drive it every day, and I smile. It's quiet, fast, smooth, and cute! The only thing I don't understand yet is the rear view camera- I think it looks like something is far away, but it's almost on my bumper! I'm sure I'll figure it out, and I am really, really glad I got this car."
