"I bought a Odyssey since my brother and cousins have each had one for several years and havent had any issues. They have all been very happy with their Odysseys. I bought a 2011 LX model which had 31K miles on it. I have now driven it more than 1000 miles and I have been pleased with it. It drives relatively smooth and has decent mileage for a van. Stylistically, it looks quite good for a minivan - certainly better than the previous years models. I have read about transmission issues on older Odysseys, and I hope those issues have been addressed in the newer models. Time will tell."

"We replaced our 10-year-old Odyssey with a low (8,500) mileage used 2011. It has all the bells and whistles and we look forward to taking some serious roadtrips in this minivan. Besides touting some serious technology, Honda finally put some insulation in the Odyssey which helps eliminate highway road noise. The kids should be more comfortable when its time to sleep."

"We bought our 2011 Odyssey in June after having owned a 2008 Oddyssey EXL. We love it. I had no problems with the other Odyssey we were just ready to upgrade to the new features on the 2011. The blue tooth is wonderful and it has a ton of storage area in the inside to hold cds/dvds/and anything you might need for a trip. It holds our family of 6 comfortably and I haven't had one complaint from the kids. They love it as much as my husband and I do. I would highly recommend this van to anyone with kids. Phenomenal investment!!!!"

"They say it rides like a car. In fact, it rides better than most cars. Fun to drive. All the comfort, functionality and high tech you could want. And the mileage is the icing on the cake. In our humble opinion, no car, van or suv at its price beats it!"

"This is our second Odyssey. The first was a 2003 and it was perfect - great performance, good styling, fairly priced, etc. The second one is a 2011. This one was a "must buy" because our other van was totaled due to rear end accident. While we didn't like the exterior styling, we thought that it would grow on us - boy were we wrong. Not only have we not gotten used to it, but it seems others seem bent on telling us they don't like the styling either. The interior is great, it runs great, etc - but the exterior styling is one of those "what were you thinking Honda?" moments. The cost of the van is also now at the top of the market which we weren't crazy about, but we wanted another Odyssey. We will be trading it for something else (something I never do) to get something that actually looks nice. Sorry no Pilot purchase either as it looks like a shinny brick. This will be my last Honda until they can make an attractive product as well as a quality product."

"So far we've been very happy with our Odyssey. It's very smooth and the fit and finish is second to none. That's what sold us on Honda versus the Toyota. And being a sportsman I had to get the towing package installed. I was very suprised to find out how easily it could tow our 17 foot boat. Gas millage has been good so far as well. We usually get 20-21 mpg around town and we've gotten as high as 29.5 on a long road trip. 29.5 mpg from a minivan... I love it!"

"Overall, it is quite dependable and get me where I need to go. Only problem is the new battery system they have for the 2011 model. It keep popping up "low battery, see manual" if you don't drive for a long distance. Sometimes it get annoying but Honda say their is nothing wrong with it. I figured since it is a new system, they will have to get all the "bugs" out and until then I just drive with it until Honda issue a recall."
