"I love this truck (and it is indeed a truck no matter what anyone says). It's a unibody over box frame so it's definitely stout. Gas mileage isn't great but if you were in the market for a V6 or V8 truck you knew that to begin with. It's more functional than any vehicle I've ever owned and handles better than most mid to full sized trucks/SUV's I've driven. For the money, you can't beat it."

"Hoda did very well with this model. The handling, power, ride are just like what Honda Makes it their other models. I gave 4 stars for exterior styling because I think it is bland. I have added ome chrome and it looks very nice."

"My wife and I have been driving Hondas for several years now. We started with Honda motorcycles then added a Civic, then another Civic, then a couple of more Civics. Then she moved on to an 08 CRV, I moved on to a 98 CRV. Now I get to upgrade to an 06 Ridgeline! I've always been pleased with our Hondas. Minimal maintenance and easy on the gasoline. When we had the civics and I needed to do high mileage repairs they were relatively easy. I enjoy the versatility of the Ridgeline!"

"We bought this truck from a dealer used and we are impressed. It is very roomy and comfortable inside. The ride is nice and quiet. The rear seats offer flexibility by folding up. Lots of storage for accessories in the console. Not too bad on gas mileage for a truck. Very happy overall."

"WOW! I bought this vehicle used in November and just love it. It had 123000 miles on it, but drove like new and looked almost new. I have been getting around 20-21 just like it is rated. I also have a Honda Pilot that is very comfortable and seats 7 and will use when more seating is needed. If I had to take a 3000 mile trip, I'd be hard pressed to chose one over the other. They are both great reliable vehicles. Hondas have outstanding repair records and hold their resale value. If you find one in excellent condition, expect to pay over book. They are worth every penny!"

"Bought from a Honda dealer thanks to cars.com. LOve the ride, the interior design and the comfortable back seat section for a family where everyone is six foot and better.A bit of wheel noise but smooth ride.Great alabaster silver color. The dealer should have put new tires on but that's his loss (I bought two vehicles from them but not another because of that and a little backing out of a price break once we got in the "office").I will buy another Honda,I really like it...just not from them"

"The Ridgeline is far better than any of the three generations of Toyota Tacoma that I have owned, except in one important aspect. Gas mileage, which averaged 16.9 MPG, is terrible. For that reason, my Ridgeline RTS was purchased and sold in only two months. Fuel costs for the Japanese Hummer were more than double the outgoing Tacoma SR5. I paid $15,200 for mine from a private owner, and at 70K miles it looked practically new. For that, I got the most comfortable and best handling truck there has ever been. Since it was so thirsty, I sold it for the same amount a month later. After taxes, I essentially drove it for free for a month, including one long trip. The best features are safety, paint, handling and ride. The most useful features are the large in-bed trunk and the flip up backseat that allows a bicycle to be carried inside the truck. The worst feature other than fuel economy is the 6-disk CD stereo, which is too boomy for most of the music a Ridgeline buyer would actually listen to. The most annoying feature is the 5-speed automatic, which downshifts at every minor interstate hill. The engine has plenty of torque, so these downshifts are unnecessary. I'm really looking forward to the next generation. If they improve the styling a bit and the fuel economy a lot, I'll probably buy another."

"In my opinion the Honda Ridgeline is head and shoulders above all the other trucks in its class. The ride is very smooth. Great on fuel and low on cost to maintain. The Ridgeline was truck of the year in 2006 and could have the title every year. The cost of the Ridgeline has remained nearly the same since introduced in 2006. We really enjoy the Ridgeline. It can handle a trailer very well."
