"I've been using my Ridgeline for a 30 mile commute and building my house on weekends for almost two years now. I've put 37,000 miles on it and driven through all road conditions and I love the Ridgeline. I get about 22 miles per gallon for my commute. On weekends I can haul just about any building material I need and I can haul it safely. We get blowing snow and black ice here regularly during the winter and I just decided that I didn't want to be out on roads like that hauling plywood, drywall or fence posts in a rear wheel truck. I value safety over saving a few bucks on gas milage. With my previous truck I had to put bags of sand in the back for traction in winter. What a hassle. The Ridgeline is all-wheel drive and there is no need for such nonsense."

"I love the trunk in the bed of the truck. the back seats are comfortable and flexible. Gets 23 mph on highway. A little noisy but that because of the tires not truck. this vehicle has as good a ride as my past suburbans. Good power and we drive it off road ocassionaly and it hasn't been stuck yet. I'd consider another for my next purchase. It is a great vehicle for any type of person depending on their needs but us retirees like its flexibility."

"This car is terrific. I have had absolutely no trouble from the time I bought it new. There is plenty of horsepower. It has good internal storage and the under-bed storage is perfect for storing all types of things. (plenty of room for golf clubs too) If I ever sell this car, I will likely look to buy another one."

"As far as trucks go, this is a gem. Navigation system is fantastic and the luxury is great. I've only had the truck a week and I've already been glad I have the built-in trunk in the bed, great feature. We had a snowstorm the day I bought my truck and while everyone else was slipping and sliding, I just drove my Ridgeline where I wanted to go. Overall I couldn't ask for more in a truck."

Honda Ridgeline - Great Compromise

"Really enjoy my 2007 Ridgeline so far. Mine is the dark cherry red with brown interior. This color scheme looks absolutely fantastic on this vehicle. Mine is the RTS and contains many standard features that tend to be options on other trucks, for example side curtain airbags. I needed a truck that could carry the family around and at the same time be ablel to haul cargo. I tested the 2007 Ford Sporttrac and was really impressed overall. However, it was a tad too small overall to fit everyone in the family. I looked at larger trucks such as the Nissan Titan, which again is very impressive and a good value. However, this truck was too big for everyday use and especially when trying to get small kids into the vehicle. So, overall, I have a truck that can haul the family and cargo items in the bed from time to time. The gas milegae is listed as 16/21 which is expected when you have a 4,500 pound vehicle that is shaped like a truck and not sleek as a coupe or sedan. The long term reliabilty will outweigh the gas usage."

"Downsize and save fuel right ...WRONG..traded a gas guzzling Silverado heavy half (12 mpg) to the fuel sipping Ridgeline(maybe 14mpg)..with no power to pull a 4500lb load.... If you need a grocery hauling truck??? with a cute trunk feature the ridgeline is the answer.. But if you really need a toy hauler run dont walk away from this morphed car/truck"

"I have owned many trucks, and this one by far is the best. Power, handling and ride comfort are top notch. Interior is well thought out, and nice touches continue to amaze. This truck is perfect for 99% of truck owners out there. As long as you don't have to haul the space shuttle to the pad, you will be very happy with this truck. This truck feels so solid and stable with a load in the back it is unreal. Honda has another great vehicle in it's lineup."

"I have owned 11 pickups and this is the best! I have driven it 21,000 miles in 9 months with NO problems. Handling and performance are outstanding for a truck (better than many cars). Deep mud might be better handled by the Toyota 4WD trucks, but the Ridgeline is quiet good off pavement."

"I am in love with this SUV/Truck. Love the two way tailgate, and the performance. Performes just as well as the Avalanche only with a few less ponies. And wipes the floor with the Sport Trac."
