"I bought my H3 used when I found I could get one from the same price as a late model Explorer or Trailblazer. I figure why not get something cool and a little different. I couldn't be more happy with my choice. The winter weather is no problem. I used this for tailgating at football, it fits me and all my friends, our stuff in no problem. Driving it to work the gas is not nearly as much of a problem as everyone makes it out to be. I get about 18mpg around town as long as I drive like a normal person. I have also taken this truck off-road, and man I can't tell you how much fun I had. I took it off road just stock, and didn't lower air pressure in the tires or anything. The H3 was awesome, creeks up above the door jam, climbing grades and mud up to the bumper, and this thing powered through all of it. It really is a shame that because of the media attention GM had to kills this brand to save face. I wish they would take this technology and but a GMC badge on it. After owner the H3 I'd have a hard time buying anything that wasn't as capable going forward."

"I currently own a 2006 H3, it has 47000 miles. I took it to an authorized service center located approximately 100 miles from my house, only to be told that the minor work (broken door handle), (rusty wheels), (air conditioning), and (tire sensor)wasn't covered because my warranty (4 years or 50K miles)expired. John (Hummer customer service) rudely told me that the in service date was in 2005. It's the principle and the product that concerns me! These vehicle are obviously cheaply made and over priced!"

"I own a yellow 2006 H3 and I love it. I have had so many compliments on how it looks as well as how it rides. I was amazed by the smooth ride, it doesn't ride like a truck or as expected. It is great for long trips. I have the luxury package with heated leather. The seats are very comfortable and they heat up very fast. In the cold winter the heat gets warm faster then any other vehicle I have been in. I would recomend the H3 to anyone looking for a reliable, fun, and comfortable ride!"

"Recently purchased this vehicle used and love it. Handles well, very comfortable, and I love the style. Some of the draw backs are low vision field out the rear window, some noise when windy and on the highway, and slow acceleration. The side mirrors make up for the loss of vision out the rear window but is difficult to tow as ou can't really see where you're moving the towed item out the back or side. Overall I would recommend this vehicle..you'll love it!"

"Was looking for a Wrangler Unlimited, then drove an H3 and instantly changed my mind. The H3 drives like a luxury car, very comfortable and roomy, handles very well. Gas mileage is better then a jeep, ( I get around 18mg )its a little slow out of the gate but once your moving you cruise at 65mph @2000RPM."

"My wife and I started looking at SUV's with an open mind. Upon seeing an H3 on a used lot, we test drove it. Hello! Wow, smooth, easy to handle, nice turn radius, and an overall feel of quality. Not a Jeepy feel like I was expecting, but more of a Cadillac with bigger tires. Comfortable inside, and an overall feeling of safety. The wife liked it so much, she wanted to drive an H2! We purchased a used 06 with the luxury package and low miles for a great price. I would recommend to anyone who's looking for a mid-size SUV, to at least test drive an H3. 19 MPG highway isn't bad either."

GREAT OFF-ROAD, after-market add-on increased MPG!

"The Hummer H3 is more than dependable, and is great for off-road use. The fuel economy can be greatly increased by simply adding an after-market vortex to the intake system. The one I purchased cost less than $300, and took less than an hour to install. Now the H3 is getting 22mpg in town, and between 28 and 29mpg on the highway. I'm happy with this vehicle. Acceleration is slow, but I'm almost 50 and my own acceleration is a bit slow. All in all, I recommend the H3 for anyone who wants the benefits of a Hummer, a good off-road rig, or just a nice all around multi-purpose vehicle."
