"I researched the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe for over a year and compared it to the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang. For the price, performance, and available options the Genesis Coupe far outweighed the other two. The interior is much more sophisticated then the Camaro an Mustang. I settled on a Black Noir Pearl 3.8 R-Spec - its a blast to drive and handles much better than the other two - hands down! Cars.com was integral in my search and helped me locate the one I wanted quickly and accurately."

"I contemplated my next car purchase for awhile. I considered the following: BR-Z, FR-S, Genesis Coupe, Ford Focus ST, MX-5 Miata, Z4 (used) and the Veloster turbo. After test driving the twins and the Ford Focus ST a few times - I couldn't bring myself to ink a deal. Then I test drove a genesis coupe. The first one I drove was a manual and boy was it fun. The turbo has a nice pull and didn't seem as jumpy as the Ford Focus ST (however it could have just been me). Next I drove the automatic and really enjoyed that too. It has the paddle shifters like the FRS/BRZ. The paddle shifters may not be as responsive (as the twins) but they are only delayed by maybe a quarter of a second. However the cabin was lightyears ahead of the twins. It is super roomy for the driver and passenger. The back row is decent but I wouldnt advise anyone taller than 5'8 to sit back there. ST wins if you care most about utility. However the interior design of the genesis coupe is very luxurious, and super satisfying. It was definitely the best out of the cars I drove (veloster was nice too). The cabin is quite quiet as you drive but you can hear the exhaust note when you want to! Last but not least, I love the way that this car corners and handles. The tires are super grippy and you can have lots of fun with the traction control off. I've only owned it for 3 days but I definitely dont think it drifts as much as the twins. If you want the go-cart feel then definitely look at the BRZ, FRS, and miata. They will give you a pure track car. But if you want something that is half track and half practical then look no further than the Hyundai Genesis Coupe. I love mine!"

"This is by far the best car I have owned. Sexy on the outside, lots of creature comforts on the inside. She is fast, but still gets pretty good gas mileage (about 22 mpg average). This car is absolute perfection. The only things I could possibly complain about after almost 2 months of ownership would be: the emergency brake must be set real hard to hold it on steep grades, it has no rear backup camera and the backseat has little headroom for adults (but at least it has one for a sports car). The rest is nothing but pros. I would absolutely recommend this car to a friend and I would buy it again if given a second opportunity."

"Ive gotten so many compliments from the least likely people. Everyone loves the color (shorline drive blue) and i love the performance, ride and handling. Not too bad on gas either. Still breaking it in so i havent gotten on it yet, but this thing just wants to go, go , go. Very happy I bought this for my everyday driver, every drive to work is exhilerating. The acceleration and braking are phenominal. DO NOT DRIVE THIS CAR IN SNOW WITHOUT PROPER SNOW TIRES, YOU WILL BE SORRY"

"Got the 3.8 Grand Touring in copper w/auto, w/ NAV, w/spoiler (the one in their brochure) and love every thing about it. 348HP, comfortable leather seats, responsive handling, looks great. Test drove a 370Z. The interior isn't as nice as the coupe and has less HP. Going to add Stillen cat-back dual exhaust."

"This car is absolutely great. I put about 25m miles on a car per year and wanted one that I would enjoy since I live in it. Bought the 3.8 GT and have 12m miles on it since May. Love the comfort, love the electronics, love the mileage and love the performance. Have had some trouble with the transmission, which Hyundai is working on. The adaptive transmission, after about 5m miles, starts slipping; especially from 4-5th gear under load. Would I recommend this car to a friend - YES. Would I get another - YES. Fun to drive, turns heads and never gets boring."

Sorry if you bought a Stang...

"WOW! This is miles better than the V6 mustang and camaro. When this car came out in 2010, I wanted one so bad. Now in 2013, the 'stangs even lost their bragging rights in a straight line because this thing is so powerful. This car is really for anyone who wants a sports car without killing a wallet. I got the 2013 3.8 R-spec, and it eats mustangs for breakfast on the road and track. Trust me, test drive a mustang, a camaro, and then this. You will laugh at every mustang out on the road."

"Am absolutely pleased with this vehicle. The reviews from the big auto magazines were spot on. I just love being behind the wheel of this car. It's not the best for MPG (I avg about 25-27), and the back seat is kind of useless, but then again that's what the rest of the Hyundai line-up is for. This car is definitely for people who love to drive and want a vehicle that is not a dime a dozen. Guaranteed to turn heads."
