"The Genesis has a lean sexy ready to pounce appearance. The V6 is more than adequate and gets near to over 30 MPG on the highway. More than once my Genesis has been mistaken for a BMW. It is extremely quiet even at Nevada highway speeds. One need not talk loud or have the sound system cranked up to hear."

"Just picked up a 2009 Genesis 4.6 in black. I am amazed at how much car it is for the price! Traded in an Audi 2.7 which is no whimpy car but this blows it away. I have only owned it a week so cannot comment on reliability, but the features, luxury, and performance are all first rate. Only complaint is the transmission is not as smooth in shifting as I would like and sometimes feels clunky, but again, for the dollar this is a great ride that I would highly recommend."

"i bought an Certified Preowned 2009 Hyundai Genesis, at the start of May... so far... i have not had real issues with it...Only problem i've had is that back up camera blacks out sometimes when i go to reverse... brought it to dealer, the problem is still covered under warranty, but of course it started working while i was there... Other than that, vehicle is great... lots of people staring while im passing.... inside is very nice..heated seats, navigation, dvd player, great sound system... very nice!!!! Everyone is real impressed with it."

"Bought new have 25K on it now. Great mileage, great room, great options (except GPS) bad tires ruined ride but changing to softer ones made all difference in world. Mostly city but several long trips. Long warranty makes one wonder why to buy ANY car with less !"

"I purchased a 2009 Hyundai Genesis with 24,000 miles last September 2011. For the price it can't be beat. Luxury plus comfort, styling and smooth running. I love the exterior styling and the interior is much nicer than my old Mercedes. It's and adult car, which means I drive more mature than I did in the past. All and all I am extremely pleased with the Genesis. Big bang for the buck."

Owning a car I've wanted a long time

"I wanted a Hyundai Genesis 4.8 as soon as they came out. I couldn't afford one at the time, but I found an excellent condition used one in my price range and I went for it. It is incredibly comfortable, with very good performance. The power can overmatch the tires at times so you have to be careful on wet pavement, especially going up hills. The air-conditioned driver's seat is very nice for the hot summer weather in the south. The car looks great, feels great, drives great and has lots of luxury items from turn adjusting headlights to backup cameras to the aforementioned air-conditioned driver's seat. I was looking for a performance car when I stumbled across this vehicle and although I felt like I went from performance to luxury, the performance is better than many of the cars I was originally looking at. Be careful, though, you don't feel like you're going as fast as you are. You don't want to be cruising down the highway only to look down and realize you're going 100. The only complaint is that the backup camera has gone out a couple of times, but I think it's just a loose wire and the keyless entry fob sometimes doesn't work in cold weather (but it recognizes the proximity of the fob when I press the unlock button on the driver's side door)."

"Prior to my Genesis I owned a 2004 Jaguar, the hardest car to sell on your own, after reading reviews on the Genesis and seeing the resale values I bought a 2009 and am in love with the performance of the 4.6 ltr V/8 and the first car I ever owned with a built in Nav. system and an air conditioned drivers seat. Which makes long drives very comfortable. The ride could be a little softer and the gas mileage leaves a little to be desired. Overall the finest automobile I have owned to date."

"My Genesis is absolutely wonderful, and the salesman was awesome, Noli showed me everything, he was awsome. I have told all my friends, and family to go see him. He really values his customers, he even called me a few days later to see how everything was going or if I had any questions. He mad me feel like I was important, and I will definitely go back to Henderson Hyundai, just because of him. Thank you for allowing me to share my expierence"

"We started our new car shopping with the new Sonata, and drove about a dozen different cars. We ultimately went with the Genesis because of the l-o-n-g list of features that came with the car, as well as for the build quality. We are about 10k miles in, and so far we have been very happy owning it. The car looks great, is quiet and comfortable, and has every creature comfort one could need. The ride is smooth, especially on the highway. The engine is powerful and transmission shifts almost imperceptibly. Fuel economy could be better, but one tank lasts me two full weeks of commuting, so this is a minor gripe. I have already recommended this car to friends and family. This is a fine product from Hyundai, which we expect to own for years."
