Hyundai's Genesis full-size sedan aims at established luxury cars like the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class with its rear-wheel-drive layout, available V-8 power and upscale features. Other competitors include the Cadillac XTS, Chrysler 300 and Lincoln MKS. The Genesis sedan comes as a 3.8 model with a V-6 engine and as the 5.0 R-Spec with a V-8.

New for 2014
Genesis sedans with Blue Link now include three years of Hyundai's Assurance Connected Care emergency communication service, which includes automatic crash notification, enhanced roadside assistance, emergency assistance and service-appointment scheduling, among other services. A heated steering wheel is newly standard for the 5.0 R-Spec, and the 3.8 has standard 18-inch alloy wheels.Exterior Highlights
