"I am former Honda CR-V EX driver for 10 years. I loved it and it was probably one of the most reliable cars I drove so far and made more than 130K miles on it. My old car probably would last another 100K miles or at least my mechanic said this, but I felt it is time to change it to something newer. I did very long research and test drive different compact SUV, starting with 2013 Honda CR-V, Toyota Rav4, Subaru Forester and few others. Finally I did test drive of 2013 Santa Fe Sport turbo and immediate felt in love with it. Styling, Power peppiness, Luxurious feel and roominess of this model made my decision to own this car irreversible. So I closed the deal and I am now proud owner of 2013 Santa Fe sport 2.0T AWD with and Leather Seats option. I opted out the highest level of equipment options because added panoramic sunroof disables having roof rails and crossbars so it was more important to me to have them. Also navigation system is something I can replace it with my $200 Android "Phablet" which perfectly fits into car electronic and interior without punching additional ~$3000 hole in your pocket. I would highly recommend this phenomenal car to everybody. Honda lost me as a customer. New 2013 CR-V cannot compare with this one at all."

"I've had the car for about a month and so far I love everything about it. The styling is great and the car drives like a dream. The ONLY thing I wish were different is that there are no daytime running lights and for a car at this price point I expected that important safety feature to be included."

"Impressive ride for a C/SUV. Handled great and power when you need it. Has more HP then any other in its glass but still sips the gas. I agree with other reviewers that the packages should be separated. Tech package has a sun roof which I don't like on any vehicle."

"Rented it as rental vehicle on vacation- really loved the way the vehicle handled and the amount of cargo room for a CUV! we onlt had the 2.4 (no turbo) and instantly knew we needed more power but got 28 mpg (not sure if thats usual) Got back from vacation and decided that the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe was the right vehicle for us. Went for the 2.0t and have enjoyed every minute with it! Havent had one issue yet"

"After looking at such CUV stalwarts as the RAV4, CR-V, Escape, Edge and the RDX I came to the conclusion that the Santa Fe was the best buy. Great styling, inside and out. Compared to the competition, the interior looks like a class above. It rides very well and the 2.0T pulls real strong throughout the rpm range, plenty of torque. As to the blind spots, adjust your mirrors accordingly and there isn't a problem while driving. Unless there's a car 12" aft your rear bumper. The camera covers the rear nicely when backing up. My only gripe is the drivers footwell is too narrow for my taste. It needs to be six inches wider for my big feet. I'm coming from a Supercrew F150 so I'm spoiled by the huge cabin there. But this is the reason for only four stars in COMFORT. Everones different so your milege may vary. I'm very happy with my first Hyundai, the 2013 Santa Fe."

"Base Santa Fe Sport owned since October Likes: 1. Design 2. Cargo space Dislikes: 1. Drivers side window as a air leak. I can hear the wind blowing as if the window is not properly closed. Started right away. 2. Creaky dashboard after two months of ownership. It's getting worse. 3. Recently the A/C light comes on when vehicle is started regardless of whether the heat is on max setting."

"I tradedan Eclipse for a new Santa Fe. Reason was a hip problem getting in and out of the low laying sports car. I am in love. The Santa Fe is comfy, stylish, peppy, and filled with perks. I dont have to struggle to get in or out. I can make a very elegant entrance. And the gas mileage is fantastic. Thank you Hyundai!"

"So far after one week and 500 miles I have no buyers remorse. This truck has one remarkable quiet and smooth ride, really feels like a class above- lots of compliments. The turbo 4 has enough power but in no way feels like a V6 2013 RDX for example. I have been averaging 21 mpg with awd and a relatively light foot. Exterior and Interior are nicest in class by far. I test drove 2013 cx-5, escape, rav4 and rdx and the Santa Fe has the most overall value and niceties for price by a mile. RDX has an edge up on performace and interior quality but boring exterior looks, killer interior although. With the $750 returning hyundai rebate I was able to pick up a fully loaded 2.0t awd for $33,011. Love it: Pano moonroof, awesome!! Good looks in and out. Really comfortably and highly adjustable power drivers seat. Infinity sound system. 8 inch touchscreen. Heated steering wheel. Leave it: No power tailgate or auto passenger winders. No roof side rails with pano moonroof. Blind spot with upward arching rear panel. Dash material right in front of front passenger is not soft touch."
