"After buying the 2011 Sonata Se 2.4 and being very impressed with the car, we put 28,000 dependable miles on that Sonata. We were so impressed that we decided to trade in the 2011 for a 2013 Sonata Limited 2.0T Black same colar. I did the research vs.competiters and fully loaded with every option the Sonata is a better purchase that saved us money. We know its a dependable car, the bluelink features are easy to operate. Engine is powerfull, gas milage is great, you can get what they claim it depends on your driving habits, the eco coach can help. 3rd year in design, there should be little to know recalls, can't say the same for the compettiters. Back up camera helps although (2011 Se) didn't have it and I made out fine teaching two 16 year olds how to drive with it with no problems. 5'2" 17 year old would drive it and see out of car with no problem. I tell you this because if you rang from 5'1 to 6'1 like myself visabilaty is pretty good all around. Limited suspension is more comfortable than Se. This time I get heated seats, hd rad, turbo, panaramic, & back up camera."

"Amazing amount of options for the price, heated seats, keyless start is such a nice feature - no more fumbling for keys. Very expansive interior space. Even with a 4 cylinder, the car will move when you need it. Great gas mileage. Love it, no complaints. My 6 year old daughter really loves it as well."

"The 2013 Sonata is a very good looking car with many features. The Bluetooth is standard, and is extremely valuable. I also like the BlueLink packages offered by Hyundai, including the Essentials Package, which allows me to send text messages using my voice. Lots of room in the car and trunk, very stylish."

"I traded my SUV for the new 2013 limited model. I traded to obtain better gas mileage. The first thing I noticed was the gas mileage was not adding up. it seemed to be getting around 20 in the city. The highway was on point with 35 mpg. The leather seats started to show alot of ware really soon and could be alittle more confortable. The ride is a bit rough although not too bad. I would recommend this car if gas mileage is not a concern and the cloth seats because the leather is not that confortable."

"Bought this car new. After 1500 mi. the car started cutting out and bucking in the morning, kept it up at usually low speeds till you reached 45 mph or faster. Ater the car warmed up there were points of hesitation when pulling out in traffic. Not good!We told the dealer what it was doing, and ne said it was normal for the Hybrid.Great news! Well after driving over 50 mi to our dealer 3 more times they finally said to leave it they would fix it.Gave us a new hybrid loaner. STRANGE that one ran fine.Ours did also at first.Picked up car after 5 days.Ran far ,got it home the next day it started all over, same as before. Back up to dealer.Tried to fix it. It was a little better. Next same problem.BACK UP TO DEALER.This time a factory rep checked it out.Well he said OPERATES NORMAL . iN THE MEAN TIME WE CONTACTED CORP several times. The kept passing the buck. Dealer said they would make it good.Yea, for $3000 more they would give me a car like I had.I said no. They could not fix my car and they wanted me to pay.The dealer said we have done every thing we can .We are done and hung up on me.So I wrote CORP. a letter. In Short they also said tough luck.TERRIBLE CO. TRADED IT FOR A 2013 HONDA."

"Have not bought a new car in about 15 years so I did research and test driving and was sold on the 2013 Sonata SE. I only have 4,000 miles but so far everything has been working great!!! Just had 5 inches of snow and the car was able to handle the snow without a problem. Love all the features and especially the mileage around town 26.4. I went on a 2,000 mile trip and gas mileage there and back was 36.4. So far so good, only time will tell if I hae problems."

"I've owned the base model 2013 Hyundai Sonata for a month now. It's a very smooth ride, great handling, very responsive when you step on the gas (200 hp w/ 4 cylinder engine), averaging over 27 mpg (34 mpg on fwy), impressive acceleration when you need it, comfortable and roomy, huge trunk, stylish interior and exterior, great sound system, blue link is nice standard feature (has navigation), xm radio, bluetooth hooks up to your phone for talking, voice-texting, and playing music, very quiet ride, built-in computer to tell you avg mpg, trip-meter, time in car, distance until empty, tells outside temp, great 10-year/ 100K mile power-train warranty, 5-star safety rating, overall excellent family car, and a great value."

"I have owned my car for 3 months now. The gas mileage is amazing. I like the features that were equipped with my model, however there are many features that are lacking that should be standard. The car sits very low with the back end seeming higher. The back rear window is extremely hard for me to see out of because of design. I have already backed up into a tree (and that is NOT like me) because of the limited rear view. The mirrors do not help! The way the car is designed makes it almost impossible to see blind spots from front to back. Even if you turn your head to see if there is a car beside you, you really really have to look or you could side swipe someone. My husband gave me the "woman driver" grief until he drove it and almost side swiped someone and because of the blind spots everywhere, almost pulled out in front of someone. I have also talked to another 2013 owner and she has the same problems with being able to see. I feel this car needs backup sensors and a rearview mirror that dulls lights at night because it sits so low. I also do not like the headlights. They illuminate a strange horizontal cut off view. You can't see very well because it is a line of darkness from the design of the lights making it impossible to see if there are deer in the road. With that style of headlights going up and down hills is horrible. I'm always turning on the high beams for better vision. If you live in a snow state, you will definatley need snow tires. My cars tires couldn't even get me nor my husband out of the driveway. I do have to take it in to the dealer because the automatic start/heater turning on is not working at 10,000 miles. Now, shortly after purchasing my car, we bought a used 2006 Sonata. Great car and no blind spots! The design is perfect and we love that car."

"I liked my new 2013 Sonata until I drove it for the first time in the snow, which was less than an inch. I am from Canada and am an experienced driver in the snow. First of all, the windshield wipers performed very poorly. They didn't clean the windows and left them streaky and smeared. Also, when I made a turn at a low rate of speed, I thought that the car was going to spin me into the intersection. I believe that it was due to poor factory tires. I would not buy the auto again."
