- Repair & Care
This five-seat luxury crossover previously was called the FX37 and FX50 to denote the engine sizes, but now both are lumped under the new QX70 banner. Infiniti has renamed its entire lineup; all SUVs now have a QX prefix, and the number that follows denotes the vehicle’s rank by size and price.
The QX70, available with a 3.7-liter V-6 or 5.0-liter V-8, competes with a number of luxury crossovers, from the Lexus RX 350 to the Mercedes-Benz M-Class and BMW X5.
New for 2014
In addition to changing the name, Infiniti has dropped the Limited Edition model with the V-6 engine. The new lineup has a base QX70 3.7 with rear-wheel drive and QX70 3.7 AWD and 5.0 AWD models with all-wheel drive.
