"We purchased a Right Hand Drive 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. We've already had several issues. First of all the brake pads already had to be replaced after 20K. We've also had to replace the left side head. This being the new Pentastar engine so highly acclaimed. Now it's in the shop and the Cam Sensor has went out and they are ordering the part. We're currently having issues with the tranction control light coming on and causing the cruise control not work. Plus, the shop we take it to 65 miles away seem to have issues figuring out these problems and how to deal with them. We have to constantly remind them to check everything throughly when we tell them the issues. We seem to get it back and have to turn around and take the vehicle back to them a few days later so they can work on the problems again. Takes them a couple of times to diagnose the issue and find a solution. What a pain! The ride is also rough and the seats uncomfortable. I've always heard and read bad things about Chryslers and they proved it to me. Don't buy."

"We were in the market to trade our Commander in and My husband wanted a Grand Cherokee. He knew I always wanted a Wrangler. When the 2013 Sahara Unlimited came out he was very interested in it also. The new Pentastar V6 is powerful and todays jeep is so handsome and refined. Driving it is comfortable and fun!. This thing flies! The Nav/Infinity stereo is awesome. When he found a rare color called Rock Lobster on the net at a far away dealer, we just had to go and see it. What a color! We bought it and drove it home that night. Hav'nt seen another like it yet. Like the title says, /we finally got one and I'm glad we waited."

"Now have 1900 miles on my 2013. Glad I waited for the Pentastar. It is perfect strong power, with the auto tranny, for the Unlimited. Leaf spring, smooth ride, suspention makes transfering the awesome power a little mushy and clunky but the auto is smooth and powerfull. Noticable engine noise like pre-failure water pump humming from the begining. Speakers have NO bass capability. Like storage and holders."

"I am use to driving SUV's or regular cars so this was something I decided to try and I am glad I did. For a Jeep, the ride is surprinsingly comfortable and handles very well. I bought the 4 door and the only draw back is when converting the soft top to convertiable, the top doesn't fold or remove fully, so it is not condusive for my pup to be in the way way back. However, I am overall pleased with this vehicle."

"I have owned my JEEP since MAY 2012 and I have already had to have the one of the motor heads replaced. It seems that JEEP knew about the problem during production but let approx 50,000 units go through production and into the market. I was one of the lucky ones to purchase one of these vehicles. I will never purchase a Chrysler product again. Chryler still has not learned a lesson from their past about quality. They are fast to take your money but their service is still the same."

"I previously owned a Jeep, but when I moved to the city I didn't feel it was very practical, so I bought a small sports car. After four years I went back to a Jeep Wrangler and it's been a great experience so far. Love it!!!!"

Jeep Wrangler: Thought it safe to buy American

"After having written off American cars as unreliable after two Mustangs a Corvette and a Jeep in the late 80s/early 90s, I went to Infinity, Land Rover, Porsche and even Aston Martin. Yes, I like luxury cars and have been fortunate enough to be able to afford them new. I needed a more useful everyday vehicle that I could get dirty though, so I bought a 2013 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. I was excited. The car was delivered without a trim piece at the driver's door latch which didn't bode well. In the first week of owning it, I found a different trim piece under my seat (it had fallen off a rear shoulder belt attachment) and the air bag light came on and remained on. To top it off, the tailgate broke. By broke, I mean the catch lever that is supposed to keep the door from swinging too far broke clean off so the plastic trim pieces on the tailgate hinges were crushed. All this in the first week of ownership. If you're thinking about buying a Jeep- well, good luck. I'll be waiting for the new Landrover Defender to replace it and unfortunately, after about 20 years of buying foreign cars- it looks as if I still came back too soon. Come on Chrysler- get your act together. ?H in San Francisco"
