"This was the 2nd Wrangler I've owned. The first one (which was a '96) had some problems, but I was hoping for better luck with this one.I only made it to 114,000 miles before I gave up on it.Tons of major repairs--Cracked head cover ($2400),steering box replaced ($850)Radiator ($600)alternator ($250) Rear drive train bearing ($600) and numerous ball joints, bearings, etc. I think I spent over $4000 in the last 12 months on repairs.A cool looking vehicle and fun to drive, great in the snow, but very expensive upkeep.I don't want to get another one.I had lots of problems even before I got to 75,000 miles.A disappointment."

"I've really enjoyed driving my jeep and if you dont need a personal vehicle for anything other than just driving, and having fun doing so,I recommend owning a wrangler, especially in the summer when you can take the top and doors off.If you need a vehicle for more functional purposes I would recomend something else."

"Goes in deep snow with ease, warm in winter, cool in summer, starts after days in 0 degree temp with ease. As with any jeep it has a hi center of gravity"

"well built, fun and easy to drive!! Trans shifts great, engine and trans a perfect match. Hard top is recommending as well as a bikini top. Gas milage could be better. AC is cold. Rode noise is tolerable. An all round solid vehicle"
