"Overall this vehicle is an awesome buy for the money. Better built than the Chevy Equinox and who can afford the Ford Edge or any of the other crossovers."

"Great power, ride and quality. Sporty design with great lines. Fuel economy a little questionable, but overall very happy with my Sorento LX Sport Edition"

"My fiance and I actually ended up with our 08 Sorento by mistake, we needed to lower our car payment and the Kia was the only option to do so, we were both very nervous about going from a Chevy to a Kia, but to our surprize Kia's have come so far! The car is wonderful, we got ours with the sport package with the nice rims and running boards and rear spoiler and it looks pretty sharp. It handles EXCELLENT in the snow (which is a selling point for me) and rides smoothly. The interior dash is nice, we did have to replace our Head radio unit and speakers but that is becasue we are "music" people. The seats are soooooo comfy I must say! The back seat feels like a recliner beleive it or not. Ours gets about 23mpg and you can't beat the 100k mile warranty! Fortunatlly we have not had any major problems with it just routine maintance. Would I buy another Sorento? Yes I actually would, like i stated before they have deff come a long way and improved!"

"I bought this car brand new and have loved every second of driving it. I find the steering to be fairly responsive for a mid-size suv, and the acceleration exceeded expectations. The ride is smooth and the seats are comfortable, and it is very good in the snow and does fairly well off-road if you have the 4-wheel drive. This is the best car i have ever owned and i have had no problems with it at all. Very reliable, amazing for the price and overall exceptional vehicle."

"I LOVE my '08 Red KIA Sorento!!!! I traded in my BMW 328I and I absolutely could not be happier!!! It is sooo roomy & comfortable and the body style is sooo pretty!!! I couldn't be happier - The absolute BEST car I have ever had (i've had an explorer, a blazer, a paseo, a bmw, a samarai, a mustang, a pulsar etc)!!! I know of 1 family that actually bought 3 of them (Crazy, I know) but after driving my easy-riding beauty.... I see why!!.. The BEST financial decision I have made in a long time!!! This car with its killer warranty is just absolutely Dreamy!!! Now... Quit looking and go get your Sorento!!!"

"I bought a used Sorento and love it. When merging on the freeway, acceleration is impressive. Some engine noise from the "throaty" 3.8L V6, actually sounds sweet to the enthusiast's ear. Ride comfort is great, decent warranty, havent put 4x4 to test yet. Cheap interior, but clean design and simple, not overly artistic or spacecraft like. Great car, get a used one and save thousands."

"Why do I give my Sorento 5 stars, I say? Well, it is all true. I don't understand why the professional expert reviewers of this car are so cruel when they don't even own one like the rest of us Sorento owners. WE should be the ones you should be talking to, and not just a few. I LOVE this midsized SUV. There is nothing I didn't like about it. I got a nice looking SUV that gets good gas mileage, solid to drive, comfortable, and I am proud to own a KIA. The other brands are so stuckup against the KIA, and actually are afraid of it's competition for a quality vehicle with an outstanding warranty to cover any worries IF reliability is your problem. Don't listen to the negativity about the Sorento 08, people. I have had so many compliments that I can't count them all. My sister in law bought the EX, and I havethe LX.I bought the Bright Silver exterior paint, and it is very classy. The Sorento takes the road nicely, and it is quiet as well. I have nothing bad to say about mine......."

"PRO - Very pleased with the ride comfort for a SUV with 5000 pound towing capacity. The front drive SUV's don't come close. PRO - Great front visibility, better than most mini-vans. PRO - Comfortable seats and ride for a vehicle having more than 6000 lb. GVWR. PRO - Plenty of rear legroom for 6-footers even with front seats all the way back. PRO - Went form BMW 535i to Sorento. It's not a BMW, but has plenty of power and reasonable drive/ride/handling for SUV. PRO - Rear deck completely flat when back seats folded down. PRO - Hills and boat ramps no problem with 3000 lb. boat trailer. CON - Have to remove rear headrests to fold rear seats. CON - Only getting about 24 mpg on highway, but it weighs almost 4500 lbs."
