"Enjoyed the car (have parked the SUV) as a low cost mileage vehicle. So far (35,000 miles) the vehicle has performed as intended. Cons: Bluetooth sketchy, works with some items and not with others. Gas mileage: 24-27mpg driving very conservatively 2L ALL the plastic scratches easily!!! Inside and outside."

"I recently purchased a 2010 KIA Soul+ Sport Automatic. It has a very sleek style(The + comes with extra speaker and lights around the speakers in front). The way everything is set up both inside and under the hood give it an A for easy access to tinker with things. The quality of the materials used is not very high, but as long as the owner Drives the vehicle like the "Wagon" category it falls under, and not an SUV, they should be fine. Its basically a KIA Car with a bigger body, hence giving it that high rollover rate (mind you, that advisory is on the drivers side sun visor). The performance is nothing to write home about, but with it being an Inline 4 cyl, it has a nice bit of HP and gets fantastic gas mileage. Sometimes it seems like the Transmission has a delay in shifting, but then again I have always owned older cars, might be normal for newer cars. The comfort is average, seats are a bit stiff. I would not want to make a 10 hour road trip in my car, but for the 3-4 hour road trips, it is perfect. Very Roomy for both Tall and shorter people, and for shorter people, the seat adjuster on the side gives a nice rise to see out. There is also a fantastic Cargo holder in the back underneath the fabric, so a lot of room for hauling. Overall, a good car for the bargain so far..."

"It looks great, is inexpensive (but doesn't feel cheap!), gets great mileage, roomy, is loaded with standard stuff especially in the "Exclaim" version, is really fun to drive...and yes...it does stand out in a crowd of other boring vanilla Corollas, Hondas, Fords, etc. I've had it for 2 months now, bought it new and got a terrific price. The quality is top notch, it has a 5 star crash RATING, high initial owner satisfaction, well made and solid. And the Infinity 8 speaker stereo with UVO Microsoft voice activated systems is icing on the cake! Plus the 100,000 mile warranty is the security I need as a single mom!"

"Enjoying driving again. Love to open the sun roof and just let the air flow, hardly ever use the air. Just the right height, seats are very comfortable and allow you to bring your legs into a very comfortable sitting position. And lots of room under break pedal to stretch out. Has been great for my legs and hips on long trips. Great on gas and carries five adults very comfortable.//ch"

"I bought this car instead of my usual Ford(s). I qualify for the A/Z plan at Fords and have been a loyal customer for 30 years. The Kia Soul has the exact same engine as the Ford Aspire, so if Fords can compromise their loyalty, so can I! First, I love this car. My husband and 2 teens do, too. It is comfortable with 5 adults in it, plus you can haul almost anything in it. We have even snapped drywall and loaded it in the back, seats down. It gets great gas mileage, has a great stereo, warms up fast and puts out a lot of heat in the winter and air in the summer. I have had no mechanical problems whatsoever. I don't feel like I'm in a "small" car when I drive it. My daughter called it an SUV. We would by another one, and wiff deff look at other kias in the future."

"Pros: The base model new car price is a great value with all the safety options. I have taken the car on a few 4x4 roads in the Yellowstone area in the summer, and the high clearance comes in handy. It?s like a two wheel drive SUV with a stiff suspension, but gets the MPG like a car. Speaking of MPG, It?s all over the map. I get between 25 and 45, with the average in the low 30s in the winter and mid to upper 30s in the summer, depending on driving conditions and gas quality. There is lots of room, and I camp in the back with the seats down if the weather is nasty. With aggressive tread snow tires in the front, I can get around in the mountains to do my skiing in pretty deep snow and the high clearance really helps. The car is built like a tank and you feel safe. You drop the hood down and it sounds solid, and the inside of the doors are solid and do not move in or out when pushing on them, unlike many other small cars. The sound system is really good for the base model. Visibility is good since you sit up higher than most cars, but it is a bit difficult to view out of the back while in reverse. Seats are comfortable if you like stiff seating, and there is heaps of room for tall people riding in the back seat. (More room than most small cars). Reliability is fine, and the 10 year warranty gives you a nice peace of mind knowing you will not have to soak any unexpected money into it. The car is underpowered a bit, but if you need speed for an on ramp, you can get it by hitting the gears at higher rpms. It?s fun to drive and looks great. Cons: The engine is noisy at higher rpms. (The new 6 speeds should take care of this problem). Conclusion: If you want a fast agile little sports car with good acceleration, then this base model is not for you. But if you want exceptional value, good quality, excellent safety (for a small car), dependability, practicality, fairly good MPG, durability, good looks, fun factor, reliability, with no future worries, then this car is for you!"

"The Kia Soul is a good vehicle and a great value for the money .With a 100,000 mile warranty on the powertrain makes it a smart buy. The plastic scratches easly but your not buying a car, this is more of a utility vehicle where you put items in and out of it and it will scratch the plastic. I bought the top of the line one which they call the ! it is loaded with features that you pay more for from other car manufactures. The ride does take some getting use to. Remember this is not a car this is more of a light utility vehicle that is good on fuel. In my opinion buy the upgraded package with the sport shifting package (automatic, clutchless manual transmission )you will be happier with this choice and the 2.0 litre engine. I get 32 miles per gallon on the highway an 26 in the city which I feel is good for the type of vehicle that you are driving. Kia has come a long way from what they use to be so do noy shy away from them."
