"I was in a wreck a few weeks ago and i had to take my car to get worked on. the rental car they gave me was a kia soul. as soon as i drove it out i knew i had to have one. three days later i returned the car to the rental place and drove to a kia lot and bought one. i have the + model with a five speed. ive only driven suvs and this car might look tiny but im 6'2 and i have plenty of room inside. being a 2L engine i was suprised that i can get it to chirp the tires up to thrid with traction control on. i wasnt in the market for porformance but something that gets better than 10mpg. and this little thing sure does. i used to to do SPL comps and the sound system in this is by far the best stock stereo system ive ever seen. not too loud but amazingly clear. i will be upgrading mine but the average joe wouldnt need to unless you like driving in a mobile metallica concert. the accesories that the car comes with is out of this world. bluetooth sat radio cruise power everything. the one problem ive noticed in the 3 days ive owned mine is the plastic on the doors scuffs just by looking at it too hard and is almost impossible to buff clean. so if you buy one be weary of the plastic parts if u want it to stay clean. the back hatch is super tiny compared to my old suv but with the seats down its not too bad. i doubt you could fit a large tv in there but the average consumer wouldnt have porblems with it.the back seat is giant which is a big plus for me and my friends since we are all around 6 foot tall. love this car and was def the best bang for you buck. if you just need something cheap and gets even better gas than i wouldnt get this. but i needed somehting to get from home to a skate park and that i could blast music out of. this is perfect."

"The 2L motor has plenty a pep but still pull a very good 30 MPG. Have driven t in the mountains and at sea level and love it. Around town is good at 26 MPG. Is easy to keep clean and looking good. Am over 60 and can get in and out well. Room for 3 in the back if 1 is smaller. All around I like this little car."

"We bought the car because of health problems in getting into lower slung sedans or too-high vans & SUVs. What we found is that this car is under a magic spell--it's bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. And the back storage area is also higher up than a sedan's trunk, so it's easy on the back. Not as wide as a more expensive car, but still comfortable in the front seat. And the back seats are not what we euphemistically call "punishment seats" in our family. You actually have leg room back there. Mileage not what's advertised, but then, I've never had a car that actually gets the miracle MPGs that they say it'll get. We're averaging between 24 and 28 mpg. Sirius XM radio a nice addition, and we got the keyless car, which means you only have to have the key fob on you to unlock or start the car. LOVE that feature. Overall, we have been very happy with our decision, and we looked at the other boxy little car, the Cube, too."

"About 6 months back my old gas guzzling tank quit working on me so I hit the pavement to find the best deal on a new car. I came upon the KIA Soul!!! It was love at first sight. The interior is fabulous and the exterior is adorable expecially if you like box cars! I was amazed at the price and had to have one so I signed to papers and the car was mine! As you know the KIA Soul is indeed a 4 banger but it completely had me fooled! You are definitely not sacraficing power in this gas saver. Also, three weeks ago I was in an accident on the highway (Completely not my fault!) and was hit by a driver going 85, my daughter was in the car. During the impact my Soul barely shook! I can honestly say my KIA Soul saved me and my daughter's life! Thank you sooooo much KIA this is the best investment I have made in a long time!"

"I'm used to driving huge American cars, but the gas prices are killing me. I knew I wanted economical, but not an egg and couldn't afford the premium for a hybrid. Tried lots of the Soul's competition before driving one 'just to be sure' and now I am. Once I drove the Soul I was convinced: solid sounding quality - no rattles. I have the A/T and the car drives like a dream and is lots of fun. Effortless around town, gets up to highway speeds fast and cruises comfortably. The options you get at standard are mind-blowing (PW, PL, A/C, Cruise, Tilt, Nice Stereo with iPod/MP3, Bluetooth, etc). I paid twice as much for my last new car, which was a nice car, but guzzled gas. I even had enough left over to go for the upgraded sound system, get some splash guards, give it a full Ziebart treatment and add a remote start/security system. <---that is my only beef - no factory security system. This car is so impressive, you must drive one to see for yourself. I was skeptical, but no more! I would recommend this car to anyone who wants to put fun in their ride while saving some money at the same time. That 10year/100K Warranty lets me sleep at night too."

"I walked into a Kia dealership...with no intention of purchasing a car. I was looking for a comparable to the 2011 Nissan Juke. What I found was an amazing car...for the right price...with more extras that I thought I could afford! Aggressive styling in both the interior and exterior...very comfortable ride...spacious interior (much bigger than the Juke)and even better...I snagged a 5 yr/60k bumper-to-bumper warranty...and lifetime (as long as I own the car) oil changes! All of this...while saving thousands! I'm happily a Kia Convert. Go ahead, search for a deal like that anywhere"
