"Went from a Hummer, to a RAV4, to a MINI Cooper and finally found my car, the Soul which has all the bells and whistles that really matter with 26MPG around town and 30MPG highway. If I'm going to knock it on anything, it's that the glove compartpart doesn't have a lock, otherwise, I love everything about it."

"I started out looking at the KIA Sportage, but decided I really didn't need that much car. So I tried driving the KIA Soul, and I was sold. It's fun to drive, handles nimbly, gets great gas mileage, and looks cool. I got the "Alien" (green) color, and I love it!"

"This car has all "the bells and whistles": It's fun to drive, but one can't be heavy-footed with it. Peppy. My main reservations about the car are: 1) I prefer a vehicle with better mileage (I'm driving conservatively, but I get only about 23 mpg. I don't think this is good enough, not with gas prices as high as they are now - and perhaps to rise more; 2) there is a giant blind spot on the right side which causes me great concern every time I change to a right lane."

"I have been through many cars but I can't say I would recommend this one to anybody. Let me start by saying that the gas mileage is terrible compared to cars in this class. It has some pep, which is nice, but it is also horrendous in snow with the 18" tires (snow tires would help but are expensive). The car has had reliability issues as well. Rattles, creaks, the UVO system needed replaced, and it blew the amp. I spend a lot of time at the dealership. Overall I've been unhappy with this vehicle."

"Funky looking car that turns heads. I wanted a very safe car and this has everything offered by any competitors such as antilock brakes, electronic stability control and side curtain air bags as standard equipment. Engine has good punch to it. Suprised with how well the car drives. Absorbs bumps in the road quite well. We are getting 25+ mph in suburbia driving only. AC and heat are strong. Reliabilty has been perfect after 11 nonths. Excellent head room (and I'm 6'4") and front and rear head room. Only gripe is a little busy dash as it relates to jamming in info such as outside temp and current mpg and such into such a small area on the dash."

"We live in the Netherlands but will move to Wisconsin in Spring 2013 so we were looking houses in Sept 2012 and rented a Soul from Ace at Chicago O Hare airport. We drove over 2.000 miles with it and we absolutely love it. When we move we need a new car and there is no doubt, it must be a Kia Soul. We are not youngsters, instead we are 55 - 69 but this is really a great car. Driving around with it absolutely convinced us."

"Looked for a 2013 Soul+. This model was so popular they sold before reaching the dealer location. Ended up purchasing a preowned 2012 with same features as 2013 as a replacement for our 2001 Sportage EX. Roominess was a pleasant surprise and the 2.0l engine has a lot of peformance with the 6 spd auto trans. The price point was well within a frugal budget. Overall great value! Ken Allan and coworkers at Wilson Kia in Jackson, Ms were excellent to work with. Try them before shopping elsewhere."

"I have a new 2012 KIA Soul Exclaim! It's a vehicle that does nearly everything right, it will meet the needs of just about any car buyer, it is a terrific value for the money, suprising room, loaded up with Infinity 8 speaker thumping stereo, huge beautiful 18" wheels, 4 wheel disk brakes (most cars in theis range have rear drum brakes!) hands down the best built vehicle I've ever had, great mileage, punchy performance, comfortable and quiet interior, unexpected standard features such as rear view camera-power folding mirrors-LED Tail lights AND front driving lights-enough room inside that I can wear my cowboy hat with room to spare J.D. Powers gives it the highest rating for Initial Quality. Of all cars sold in the North American market, the Soul is #8 Rated by the US World and News Report among Affordable Small Cars. The funny thing is, even tho I'm sure these Souls were designed and marketed for "hit young people", I saw at various KIA dealers older adults snapping them up! Easy to get in and out of, lots of room, upright cabin, lots of cargo space, reliable and good fuel mileage. Plua the icing on the cake is the 100,000 mile warranty! I'm in my mid-fifties, and bought one too! I don't feel any younger...just more comfortable! ;) And I personally LOVE my Soul! I've always had Toyota and Ford vehicles, and I've just bought a brand new 2012 KIA Soul Exclaim, new 2011 KIA Sorento SX and a 2011 KIA Forte EX Hatchback. Great vehicles!"

"This car is roomy for passengers as well. Wish it had more cargo space so I wouldn't have to remove both bike wheels. Better yet, it should come with optional hitch for bike rack in the back. It's taken 6000 miles for the fuel mileage to get 24 mpg in the city of las Vegas. Of course I drove from New York to Nevada and averaged 27 mpg which was far from the 34. I drove speed limit on interstates with the air on and not 50 mph."
