Land Rover has completely redesigned its flagship Range Rover SUV for the 2013 model year. The new SUV still seats up to five, but its new aluminum construction helps yield a significant 700-pound reduction in weight, helping both performance and gas mileage. Buyers still have a choice of two V-8 engines, one of which is supercharged. The Range Rover occupies a unique corner of the market; its closest competitor is the Mercedes-Benz G-Class.
