"I recently traded in my 2007 BMW 750i after years of constant trouble and trips to the BMW dealership so I thought of trying out this vehicle after driving my friends 2012 LS460. The LS is nicer of course for the money but this GS feels great almost like a smaller LS it has the same features and driving is similar. I love the interior it is very comfortable and has bmw style seats. The GPS is awesome, very accurate. The car drives beautifully on the highway and the ECO, Sport, and Sport + modes come in handy when you want to choose how your going to drive. I use Sport + mostly and still get and average of 23-25 mpg. ECO mode is good when trying to save gas. This is overall a great car and really surprises me it lives up to my 7 series. Here are some down sides that I would like to have back though. 1. automatic trunk 2. soft close doors 3. power rear-side sunshades I will be getting the 2013 LS460 in the next week and will be giving the GS to my son."

"I recently purchased a Lexus GS350 F Sport from Lexus of Atlantic City. Helen Bitzberger was my agent. Her team walked me through this car by the inch. It was really a great experience and the car is amazing.! Thank you Atlantic City Lexus for being a "step above the rest". This was not an easy car to obtain and you went out of your way to find it. You guys are the best!"

"Compared to BMW 328 and 528 -- but kept coming back to re-drive the Lexus -- all were AWD. Much nicer interior (flaxen color leather), dash panel, etc. (interior) on the Lexus. The 5 Series exterior looks plain by comparison unless you opt for the upgrade paint colors. Like the Lexus V-6 even though the new 4 Turbo's are nice but I think the BMW motors will require more long-term maintenance. The big dash computer on the Lexus is much easier to use. Price was $10K more than the BMW 3 and $4K less than the BMW 5 with as close a match as possible on options. You can't go wrong with any of these choices -- would like to have them all!"

"I puchased the F Sport back in July 2012... Nebula Grey with the Dark red interior sitting on 20in custom rims, this continues to be a daily Head Turner. I love this car! I drive in Sport mode 90% of the time and Sport+ when I need to get there in a hurry, weaving my way in and out and around corners. People are just not use to hearing a ROAR from a Lexus this size! I'm up the on ramp and boldly positioned in any spot I want on the freeway. Lexus got it right on the GS 350 F Sport for 2013, this is truly something special to drive. All of my trips seem to end entirely to soon for me. Nothing in its class can compare with the driving sensation of the F Sport... It's a great experience."

"I purchased my 2013 back in Feb. I had 2006 Lexus GS 430 prior to this one. I must say that I love the car and once I was able to test drive it I was sold. I got the blind spot, cold weather package, nav, 18 inch wheels upgrade and awd. I have heard of people complaining of not being able to use the Lexus Enform App. I was able to linked my phone to the service and haven't had any issues using the app. I drove my car recently 750 (both ways) miles to a wedding, and must say I got up to 30mpg 75mph the entire time. I am very impressed. After purchasing my car, my neighbors decided to go purchase them a brand new Lincoln MKZ. Really dont even compare. The neighbor husband always looking out the window when I am backing up into my garage. Yes, you should have gotten a Lexus instead of that Lincoln. I do miss my v8 that I had in my Lexus GS 430 but this V6 havent let me down yet. I love the way it growls when I hit the gas to pass someone on the highway. I think I scared a few ppl when they heard the roar..... The only thing that I dont like is that I dont have power trunk or power folding mirrors which I had in my 2006 model."

"Options: Have the heads up display, park assist and upgraded sound system. Great Car. Only odd things are the trunk release. I wish it fully extended once its popped. And the placement of the seat heaters and coolers which is behind the cup holders. It's a little odd to get to the controls if you have a large cup in the holder."

Not Just Another Sport Luxury Sedan

"Purchased my GS350 New at the end of April, 2012. Special Conquest Cash was available as was outstanding financing from Lexus Finanacial Services. I owned a 1996 and 1999 ES300 and a GS300 in 2001. This new GS350 doesn't even compare to the "old" Lexus styling and ride/handling. The car handles like a BMW 5 series and better than a Mercedes E350 Sport, but has a tenderness about the ride and handling that the other competitors don't offer. The car came with a Mark Levinson 850 watt 17 speaker premium audio system (optional), Navigation, Luxury Package, Blind Spot Monitor, Heads Up Display, Intuitive Park Assist, semi-analine full leather, and 18 way power seats for both front seats. Much quieter than a BMW or Mercedes or Audi, but has more off-the-line acceleration than either one. Hugs the road like it was glued there, but no vibration or road noise as is fouind in the other entries. Audio includes availability to pipe in Pandora Radio and IHeart Radio Stations when Lexus Enform is activated on my Iphone. XM radio and NAV Traffic and Weather including gas station pricing for premium fuel is found in one of the sub routines. When considering the fact that the car, fully loaded like this MSRP's for $58,580, or significantly less than a loaded E350 or 535i, this is truly a value for the money. Only negative, in my opinion, is the extremely heavy technology if one opts for NAV and Luxury Packages. Takes time to master. I'm still getting used to a parking brake that is set by merely pressing a button on or off. I would not recommend heavy tech packages on this car to those who are skiddish about computers and technology. This is, without any doubt, the very best new car I have ever owned, and that's a fact. You must test drive one of these to fully appreciate the ride and handling dynamics."

Best value in this class

"After driving several cars in this class this is the car I went with. A quick summery of the other cars I considered: BMW 535i ? to get all the features I wanted in the car I was approaching $70,000 and I definitely wanted to be under $60k. It was a nice car though. Infinti M37 ? the materials felt a class below, and the car(engine) was noisy. Equipped like the Lexus it cost over $2,000 more. Audi A6 ? fast and cool but it didn?t have the same luxury feel as the Lexus, and the dealership really let me down. I didn?t consider the MB E-class because I really don?t like the way it looks and previous MB ownership experience. Cadillac CTS ? not even in the same class; after sitting in it I didn?t bother to take it on a test drive. I was thoroughly impressed with the Lexus dealership. They even have a technology specialist that?s kind of like a genius bar, that you can always get assistance through without going through service. It?s very convenient when you can?t get ahold of your salesman. And they actually know everything about the car (unlike many other dealers). I got the Luxury package mainly for the 18-way adjustable seats for both driver and passenger. I wanted the F-Sport but the passenger only gets 10-way seats. The new interior styling is near perfect (I got the Flaxen semi-aniline leather, which is glove-soft). The remote touch for controlling things in that massive HD display takes a little time to get used to, but after a week I find it as easy as using a computer mouse. You don?t have to use it for making common adjustments like changing radio stations and adjusting climate settings as there are redundant buttons and knobs on the dash and steering wheel (nice). There are so many features on this vehicle that it would take way too long to review them all, but I can say that they all work extremely well. A couple of my favorites are the navigation system with Enform, Bluetooth Message Access Profile (reads my text messages and e-mail subject line), and the Mark Levinson stereo. Driving the car is a dream. When cruising around it feels solid, soft, and quiet like the big LS, but turn the drive control knob all the way to sport plus (which changes the throttle mapping, steering, transmission, and shock rates) and this Lexus will hustle. I find it much more fun and capable than I will ever really push it. And it feels faster than the specs might indicate (and sounds glorious while under full throttle). I don?t know if it?s any faster than the BMW or Infiniti, but is sure feels and sounds a lot better (and that?s all I care about). 70 MPH really feels slow in this car. It?s not a perfect car though. There are a couple areas that irritate me. One is the moon roof sunshade; it feels really cheap (like Toyota Corolla cheap) and is just out of character in this car. The other is that the trunk really needs to be slammed (there is no power option, or even assistance like on the previous GS. It is really annoying when your arms are full and you have to put everything on the ground just to close the trunk. The mirrors don?t power fold either, but that?s a minor annoyance. All-in-all, this car suited me much better than the others in this class (and I got it all for under $60k). Plus I have the luxury of knowing that it is less likely than any other to give me reliability issues. I would write more, but I?m just itching to get back out on the road in my new GS 350."
