"Along with the Acura Legend, this care is the best I have owned. It is solid and bulletproof. It does drive like a boat at times, but overall I look forward to driving this car on a daily basis. Snow tires are a must, so you will need a second set of tires and rims but it is worth the safety."

"It is a great car. totally reliable and comfortable on long drives. It's not exciting to drive and does not handle like a BMW, but you won't have to take it to the dealer very often."

"I absolutely belive that the quality of this vehicle is immediately evident as soon as it is driven. The quality workmenship and engineering combines to make for the best car on the road. I have just purchased by second LS and see no change in the quality I experienced in the 99 LS. You will not be disappointed!!!"

"This is my second 1999 LS400 it was my choice over 2000/2001 models because of mileage and condition. I was very happy with the LS when purchased new, I'm very happy with the second after three years and 43,000 thousand miles. The car now has 63,000 miles driven that includes FL, Tx, and Nv.. All maintance performed by Lexus dealers. I've replaced wiper blades, tires, front brake pads. I'm retired now but oh how I wish I could afford a new one. Note: I owned but did not like the 2005 ES300."
