Lexus spruces up the LX 570 luxury SUV for 2013 with new front styling to match the look seen on other Lexus cars, plus adds technology on the inside with its latest Enform suite of applications. The LX 570 is the luxury brand's largest and priciest SUV. It seats eight and competes with other large SUVs like the Infiniti QX56, Mercedes-Benz ML-Class and Cadillac Escalade.
Exterior
The 2013 LX 570 wears new front styling similar to the redesigned 2013 Lexus GS sedan and 2012 Lexus CT 200h. The grille is called the "spindle" in Lexus terminology, but it looks like an hourglass and brings new lighting options along with it. The headlamps are a new design and now feature LED daytime running lamps. Lexus also updated the rear with a revised bumper, taillights and trailer hitch cover. Exterior features include:
- Standard high-intensity-discharge headlights
- Standard adaptive headlights with pop-up headlight washers
- LED taillights
- 20-inch, five-spoke wheels
- Standard heated side mirrors with integrated turn signals
Interior
Not much has changed to the interior's overall style, but new gadgets are added. A larger information display in the gauge cluster shows digital readouts of speed, navigation directions, terrain mode and steering-wheel angle. A new multimedia system is added with the latest generation of Lexus Enform, which allows users to connect to applications like Pandora internet radio, OpenTable or MovieTickets.com through a paired smartphone. Interior features include:
- Standard navigation system with Bluetooth phone connectivity (and streaming audio) and Lexus Enform
- Standard auxiliary and USB/iPod inputs
- Standard first-aid kit
- Available air-conditioned seats, heated second row and heated steering wheel
- Available pre-collision system with dynamic cruise control
- Available dual-screen rear entertainment system

- Zero to 60 mph in 7.5 seconds
