"The engine is recognized as one of the most reliable car engines ever made. Many see 400 and 500 thousand miles. More powerful than most cars on the road, but its weight hinders some of the performance. The SC300 while having less power, weighs less and can easily be tuned to outperform the SC400 The 97 and later models have several notable upgrades"

"I have this same car, that I got new in 1994. Still drive it and love it, it was 117,800. miles . Have only had to do normal mat. , not one major repair. Had the lexus dealer do all the reg. mait. work as called for. Best Car I have ever owned, & at 56 thats a lot. I have three others now, but would not sell this one"
