"Traded in my 2005 Chrysler 300C for this 2009 MKS (AWD). Ive had it 3 weeks today and will say i am very satisfied with my purchase. I got the Tuexdo Black color/ black interior and just tinted my windows 35% all around. Ive gotten compliments just about everytime ive driven it. Exterior: Love the shape and style of the car. In a class of its own riding down the street. Interior: absolutely amazing!!! The THX/Sync system is works great. Navigation = excellent. Visability is great. the designers laid out everything in hands reach for the driver. Sterring wheel has all the buttons to do everything from the wheel. Comfort: BEST RIDE IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. Just came back from 10hr drive to Michigan for the hoiday and felt like i was in FIRST CLASS SEATING the whole ride there and back. While in Michigan i had three 6 ft adults in backseat for a trip to casino and they all were comfy. Performance: This is where the car disappoints me. In my opinion, this 40K car has a 20K engine. The takeoff, sounds like a chevy malibu but pass that it rides smooth, drives great on the higway. *Coming from my HEMI engine i was expecting this to have a lil more aggressive to it for 40k Value For Money: Pricey compared to competitors Reliability: No Problems thus Far -The definition of Luxury, Style, Performance combined in a 4 wheel vehicle."

"My wife bought this car last year as a replacement for her IS300. I currently drive a 2004 Lincoln LS. The MKS has been somewhat of a let down for us (me especially). The MKS only comes with a V6 and is front wheel drive based. These 2 factors along kill the fun when I jump from my wife's MKS to my LS. The MKS is not much fun to drive, and doesn't give you that seat of pants fun feeling as the LS does, but the MKS is a comfortable long distance traveler. I'm not digging the current Lincoln styling, however my wife finds it to be just fine. Overall, this car is an OK car, but not anything better than average. I'll gladly drive my "hot-rod" Lincoln LS over my wife's MKS."

"I was test driving the Mercedes E350, considering a cadillac CTS, and then I saw her...The White Chocolate MKS with everything imaginable in options. 2009 only 20K still under warranty and a great price. As a realtor in a heavily populated automotive town, buying american made sense. This Linclon is amazing. I spend a lot of time in my car and I enjoy being in this one!"

"I traded a Lincoln MKZ on this and iI love it. I like the interior room and luxury feel. The voice activated radio, navigation and phone are clear and easy to use. It is quiet smooth and fast. I got 24 mpg on a week long road trip."

"I had the MKX before this car and actually want to go back to it. The MKS is nice but not enough storage space/compartments and I can never seem to get the seat in a coomfortable position. I will be trading it in next year. The overall car itself is sporty and the pick up is exellent."

"Hard riding vehicle. When backing it's impossible to see to your right and even with the back up camera backing this vehicle is an adventure. Loved the GPS and hands free bluetooth."

"The 2009 Lincoln MKS is without a doubt the finest car every producted by Ford Motor Company. With over 20,000 mils behind me and the starship, I can honestly say that the miles were comfortable, efficient, and enjoyable. To start with, comfort is built into this vehicle. Not only does the interior look great, this is one car built for over the road driving, and provides for a nearly fatigueless experieince. I have average 21 mpg on the all wheel drive version, with city lows around 18 and highway highs approaching 25 mpg. Although the starship is not a gas sipper, it is more than efficient even with gas again approaching the $3.00/gallon mark. Reliability of this vehicle has been unsurpassed, and the dealer experience has been second to none. This car is worth every penny, listing at nearly $46,000, but was loaded with ammenities that once experienced, no one should do without....including sync, nav, tons of safety, great handling, quite ride, and praise from both paggengers and onloookers. Ford/Lincloln/Mercury has done a great job with this vehicle, and should get top credit for providing the driving public with a great driving option."

"This is the best vehicle I have ever purchased. I have owned Infiniti G, Acura TL, and BMW 535. MKS has superior styling and rides like a dream. It has way more gadgets than you need, but who cares. The price (47K) is a bargain for everything that comes with it."

Many quirks in this car

"I purchased this car brand new and have had it in to be looked at four times since my purchase 5 months ago. The week after I bought it the radio would not work unless i restarted the car several times when I got in and first cranked it. Also there is an extremely loud popping sound coming from the speakers when you first crank the car. 5 months later this is still occuring. Also, there are constant rattles in the dash in three different locations. Just this week there is now a new rattle in one of the sunroofs. The rattles are so annoying you have to turn the radio up loud to drown them out. When your radio doesnt work half the time, no luck drowning out those rattles. I have taken my car in several times and the technicians themselves have heard the rattles and the popping sounds from the radio and have seen where the radio will not work most mornings when you first crank car unless you cut car off and re start it several times. They are unaware of WHY these problems are occuring but according to the technician this is not the first complaint they have had from owners with these same concerns. Also, the cup holders in the front are entirely too small. It will not hold two cups at one time. The engineerer should have definately made those larger. The car is a smooth riding car and very comfortable but the rattles and popping and radio problems are a bit annoying and quite frustrating. When you pay this kind of price for a car you do not expect to be riding around in a "rental" while yours is constantly in the shop having people trying to "figure out" what the problems are. Overall, I am dissastified with my purchase and wish I had chosen another car at this point. I have had my car at the dealership at least once a month since my purchase and it is currently in there now. Still not knowing what is the cause of the radio and rattle issues."
