New for 2013
A new GranTurismo Sport coupe debuts for 2013, replacing the GranTurismo S coupe. The Sport's 4.7-liter V-8 engine makes 454 horsepower.

ExteriorMaserati teamed with Italian design studio Pininfarina to style the GranTurismo. The car features a wide oval grille, a long nose and a short rear deck. It sits low to the ground and has a sleek, road-hugging profile. Exterior features include:

  • 20-inch wheels
  • Three air inlets behind front fender
  • Unique aerodynamic bodywork on GranTurismo MC
  • Grille features vertical concave slats
  • Available carbon fiber exterior trim on GranTurismo MC
  • Bi-xenon high-intensity-discharge headlights
  • Optional colored brake calipers

InteriorMaserati cloaks the interior in high-quality leather and puts chrome accents on the dashboard. The GranTurismo seats four and Maserati says two adults can fit comfortably in the backseat. Interior features include:

  • Navigation system with 7-inch screen features a hard drive for storing music
  • Numerous interior material options, including an Alcantara simulated-suede headliner

Under the HoodMaserati says the GranTurismo coupe can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 4.7seconds and reach a top speed of 185 mph. The convertible takes slightly longer to reach 60 mph and has a lower top speed of 177 mph. Mechanical features include:

  • 444- or 454-hp, 4.7-liter V-8
  • Six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters
  • Available Skyhook adaptive suspension automatically adjusts shock-absorber firmness for different driving and road conditions

SafetySafety features include:

  • Antilock brakes
  • Electronic stability system
  • Front- and side-impact airbags
  • Parking sensors


GranTurismo ConvertibleKnown in most other markets as the Maserati GranCabrio, the GranTurismo convertible comes as a base model with a 444-hp V-8 engine or in Sport trim with a 454-hp V-8. Other details include:

  • Power soft-top raises or lowers in 24 seconds
  • Performance exhaust system for Sport model
  • Optional carbon fiber exterior and interior pieces available on Sport
  • Pop-up rollover bars
